  Kitsune && her partner had been kept in today - temperatures were dropping . While Shenhe is used to such things , the same couldnât be said for Yae Miko . She rather snuggle under blankets , near a fire , drinking hot tea . Itâs really so unfortunate her darling Ei couldnât join them , so theyâve taken this time to have a heart to heart ⌠speaking on the topics of those who came in harms way . Really at any point . Her belovedâs reactions were always so sweet , even if most were of the violent variety .
  Hums of delight , as one always did with Shenhe , she leans into the silver - haired womanâs chest && nuzzles . Listening to her words roll off with such feistiness , always managing to make her weak in the knees . Liliac eyes would look up into a much pretty pair , smiling && reaching up best Miko could to give butterfly kisses .
  â I know . And Iâd do the same for you , darling . But donât worry , those pathetic souls werenât even good enough to be devoured by my foxes and I . I do assure you that we tore them apart , though . I hope that makes your mind rest at ease . ~ â
   Shenhe has become far more emotional as of late , and even then , most emotions felt center around a rage she cannot quite ignore . Certainly Master would consider this to be time for another rope , but it is a restraint she is relieved to be free of . Even if the feelings are dangerous , they are hers , and she has grown so tired of holding back .
   With the bad , she has found good . Her rage , now with purpose     to protect , lover and dear friends alike . They are the source of her fury , and thus , her strength . Surely Master would understand , in the end . Â
   Fingertips blaze a path along Mikoâs lower back , so instinctive at this point she doesnât entirely remember when it began . Miko may intend to comfort , and it does in part , but there is still anger swirling ... partly towards herself , for her own absence .
   â ... Good . Iâm sure they deserved worse , but I am glad they were punished . And that youâre alright ...  â Pearls fall to porcelain skin , noting the way it prickles .  â Are you cold still ? Here , come closer .  â Without another word , Shenhe sits up , reaching for another of Mikoâs blankets before wrapping it  âround foxâs shoulders and pulling her closer to chest .
