It’s a little late, but Happy Father’s Day to the daiyokai who unexpectedly became a hogosha to an adorable little orphan!

Here we have Papamaru helping his munchkin reach some pretty flowers she saw in a tree during one of his visits.

These are long overdue! They’re also in reference to my previous piece here

When designing Rin as a Demon Slayer, I put a lot of thought into how I think she would style her hair and these are the designs that came to mind. I ultimately went with the low ponytail seen on the left in the first set since that seemed the most like her style, but I thought the others would look super cute on her too (I like to think that she’d alternate depending on how she’s feeling that day). I included a pixie cut look as a bonus because I remember someone requested to to see her with short hair, so here you go!

In regard to her weapon, I thought that a long-distance weapon would be more suitable for her than a close-combat weapon. Although her boomerang is about half the size of Hiraikotsu, it still packs quite a punch! I gave her a smaller boomerang because let’s be real, Sango’s a beast who just makes yeeting hers look easy.

Aaaah thank you so much for the tag!! 😍 These all look so lovely. I agree the low ponytail suits her well but I like the high one too! Also her weapon being a boomerang is SO COOL, it gives me Rin-adjusting-to-life-in-the-village-and-Sango-teaching-her HCs 😭😭

TYSM 😭 and I agree! When I finished I was really loving how the high ponytail looked! Very Sango-esque. I'll definitely do more art with that style.

Yeeeesss! Rin and Sango would definitely develop a sisterly master-apprentice bond. Look forward to it! 😎 ♡

This is my second contribution to the HNY is over party! Part 1 @sesshousfur I remember someone mentioned to @theidolizer that if Rin were a demon slayer, she could use Ah-Un like Sango uses Kirara. I just thought that was the cutest thing, so I had to draw it!

So here, we have Rin returning from an adventure with Ah Un. Sesshoumaru pretty much lets her have Ah Un accompany her on all her trips (b/c let’s be real, not-so-subtle protective guardian Sesh is just *chefs kiss). What was she doing on said adventure? We shall soon find out! 👀

More details on Rin’s weapon of choice in my next post! (I promise I wasn’t being lazy in the weapon design choice!). Also, backgrounds clearly aren’t my forte atm so if anyone has tips/criticism, let a girl know!

My first contribution to the Hanyou no Yashahime Is Over Party! Part 2 This is the first piece in my “what would actually happen” fix-it sequel series. I’d like to dedicate this and all my future fix-it pieces to all those who were hurt by Yashahime and its butchering of Inuyasha’s characters, especially @generalexcuse @petra-realsnk @sesshousfur and all you beautiful OG Inuyasha fans. I hope that through art, I can give you all a little joy and ease the frustration. Love you all. ^.^

Here we have a grown-up Rin admiring her lovely new kimono which she received as a gift from Sesshoumaru (Yashahime Pedomaru who? I only know the REAL Sesshoumaru). He still visits every so often and brings her lovely gifts as the wholesome guardian-figure he is. More updates on Rin’s and other characters’ adventures in posts to come! Feel free to share your own ideas too!
