"No-" Isaac stared at the ground,"I’d really rather not do the project at my house…"

"That's fine, my house it is!" Madison smiled softly, packing her things up.

i've been away for a while; like for a starter?

"But I hate it."

        But our team really needs you. Plus, I think Isaac likes hanging out with you."

                        “Stop, just stop talking for a second, please.”            [ His voice is strained.               He’s almost out of time.               He has to get this out.               Before… ]                         "I don’t, okay?                          Believe what you want,                          but I really don’t.”            [ He doesn’t want to to this.               But he knows there’s no other way.               They won’t be safe is this continued.               The Nogitsune would eat them alive.               It’s coming back.               Get it out Stiles. ]                         "I don’t l o v e you.                          You need to go.

[Madison choked on her words. No amount of swallowing would budge the lump in her throat and blinking just made the tears in her eyes form faster.]

                  "You're not serious?"

[It comes out as a barely audible whisper, her head spinning.]

                  "No, Stiles please.."

[Her voice wasn't getting any louder and yet her lungs felt as if she were screaming, her whole body was rejecting his words.]

                     "But you said you did... 

                                               You said forever."

"I-it just can." Aiden hesitated, then wrapped his arms protectively around his chest. His words came out as a half choked whisper, "I-I don’t know what to do anymore."

  And in that second, Madison's heart broke for the guy sat in front of her. He just sounded so broken, she wanted to hug him close and promise everything would be okay. But this was Aiden, and Madison didn't know how he would react. So she stretched out only a hand and placed it gently on his shoulder. "Oh Aiden, i'm sure it's going to be okay.."
