Mizuki Shigeru’s Seven Rules of Happiness. #7 – Believe in what you cannot see – The things that mean the most are things you cannot hold in your hand. #6 – Take it easy – Of course you need to work, but don’t overdo it! Without rest, you’ll burn yourself out. #5 – Talent and income are unrelated – Money is not the reward of talent and hard work. Self-satisfaction is the goal. Your efforts are worthy if you do what you love. #4 – Believe in the power of love – Doing what you love, being with people you love. Nothing is more important. #3 – Pursue what you enjoy – Don’t worry if other people find you foolish. Look at all the people in the world who are eccentric—they are so happy! Follow your own path. #2 – Follow your curiosity – Do what you feel drawn towards, almost like a compulsion. What you would do without money or reward. #1 – Don’t try to win – Success is not the measure of life. Just do what you enjoy. Be happy.

I feel super fortunate to have had the opportunity to make this documentary.Brad Tennant and I started work together on this project in spring of 2013 and with the help of some of our really amazingly talented friends Brad Finegan,Justin Erion, and Steven Weed we were awarded the Sir Edmund Hilary Award at Mountain Film Festival earlier this year!
Huge thank you to the Friends of the Ann Arbor Skatepark for helping us with this, especially Trevor Staples and Joe Galante. They have a really inspiring story that everyone could learn from.
With appearances from Tony Hawk, Andy Macdonald, and Friends of the Ann Arbor Skatepark.
Let me know what you think!
Brad and I have a new video for you tonight. I hope this is ok.
DO YOU LIKE TO LAUGH?!?

Every single scene of the movie is story boarded and rehearsed before the actors are on set. (x)

Nightmare of You’s debut album: One of the most underrated albums of the last 10 years. If you’ve never listened to it, or haven’t listened in a while, today’s a great day to break it out.
Cali life is hard.
One of the best movies from last year that you probably haven't seen yet. #Nightrcrawler
I’ve spent the past year losing 80 lbs and getting in shape. A lot of people have been asking me how I did it; specifics like what diet I was on, how many times a week I worked out, etc etc. So I thought I’d just answer everyone’s questions by giving you guys step by step...
I keep hearing about snow. I don't see it? #sunnyvortex
