If Aloy had to describe the sunset over the sea, she would have called it a living canvas. As the sun dipped below the horizon, hues of pink, gold, and purple painted the water’s surface, creating a breathtaking masterpiece. Sky and sea melted together until one could not even be distinguished from the other. She would borrow words from Carja manuscripts, words like radiant and divine. Or maybe, she would instead look toward the deep blue, almost black colors covering the eastern sky, where a handful of stars were beginning to show over the very tops of the mountain peaks.

But in truth, she liked to think she would have been able to paint such a pretty picture with her words, if she hadn’t been so hopelessly and distractedly preoccupied with kissing Seyka.

On every new playthrogh of HFW I have to think of @honda-civit's wonderful fanfic The Edge of the World.

I love the idea of Seyka's and Aloy's alternative story. Right now I finished Latopolis and I'm on my way to Plainsong. Each time waking up in Stone's Echo I wish Seyka was there too.

I hope there will be a new chapter out soon ❤️

😭😭😭😭 NO WAYYY what an honor that my fic is the thing that comes to mind when you're playing the game. GAHHHH I promise there's no one in the world who wants this chapter out the door more than I do! I was thinking of writing a quick housekeeping post about the state of TEOTW to get everyone up to speed on where I am with the update. I might just go ahead and do that hehehe
