JK Rowling confirmed that she has imagined people of every religion at Hogwarts
……….except Wiccans.
Apparently it’s a different concept of magic that can’t coexist.
There are so many levels of bullshit in this, it’s honestly hard to put it into words. Does she think Wiccans are just LARPing the stuff in her books? And the mysticism and traditional rituals of other religions are totally compatible, right, since they’re not magic at all. They have proper names.
Beneath the cut find a few plot ideas I'd be interested in exploring. In general I'd like something longer term, with some plot involved. I don't mind writing out sex scenes, but not all the time and I'd like the scenes to have some sort of important character development involved at least some of the time. These are just some of the ideas I'd be interested in; I'm always up for brainstorming other ideas. I'm most interested in Adam or Eliott, but I've included ideas for other characters as well.
(*Unless it's a full-on AU from before Kurt and Blaine met of course.)
Canon: Through The Break-Up, picking and choosing canon plots from there and veering a hard-left into alternate canon line. (Also open to discussing lines set S2-S3, with some veering from canon of course)

Kurt Hummel is someone who knows who he is and what he wants. From a young age he had to protect himself from people who told him that everything about him was wrong; his voice, his looks, his personality, his sexuality; he formed a shell that kept people, even his father, from getting too close. As he grew older, the shell didn't harden so much become flexible. After coming out to Mercedes and later his father, and making friends with the other members of New Directions, Kurt found that people liked him and he didn't have to try so hard to keep from being hurt. The sarcasm and aloofness with which he kept himself apart from his peers slowly lessened, revealing a warm heart and generous personality. Oh, he was still sarcastic and high-maintenance, but it lacked the heat of his early teen years.
Since coming to New York, Kurt's confidence in himself has strengthened. His work at vogue.com is valued by his editor, he's made a good number of friends at NYADA, his professors praise his work but offer constructive criticism that has seen him grow as a performer over the 2 semesters he's attended. The break-up with Blaine left his sexual confidence shaky, but he's moved past and is starting to see that he is a desirable catch. He'll never be made for casual sexual encounters, but he's come to enjoy going out and the attention he gets from the men-interested-in-men population. He's comfortable with the idea of sex, and his own sexuality.

Kurt knew he was gay pretty early on, though he didn't have the words for it until middle school.

History:
Amanda Peterson and Burt Hummel met when Amanda brought her Mercedes into the garage where Burt worked to be fixed. They were from opposite sides of the tracks, but somehow forged an instant connection. While her parents didn't necessarily approve of the marriage, they liked Burt and knew their daughter loved him. Amanda and Burt tried for several years after their marriage in 1989 to have a child, but it wasn't until 1993 that it was successful. Kurt was born in May, and immediately became the apple of his parents' eyes. Amanda died when Kurt was almost ten, in a hit and run car accident. Kurt withdrew into himself, finding it hard to make friends at school. He and Burt grew closer, though there were some pretty major things Kurt didn't tell him--the bullying at school, that he liked boys, that sometimes he cried himself to sleep--wanting to protect his father from the harsh truths. He preferred to stay home and practice his singing, or help Burt in the garage, and it wasn't until his Sophomore year of high school that he finally started making friends.
Despite ups and downs, he left high school with a strong foundation and arrives in New York with the determination to succeed. For the first three months of his time in New York, Kurt worked for Isabelle Wright at vogue.com. He had his heart broken when Blaine, feeling neglected, cheated on him. He channeled his heartbreak into one of the best spontaneous auditions NYADA had ever seen, and was given special dispensation to start during the Winter semester, only a semester behind the rest of his class. He was invited to join the Adam's Apples, and struck up a friendship with their leader, Adam. He took extra classes over the summer to make up the lost time, and was surprised that people actually seemed to like him.
Still hurting from Blaine's betrayal for several months after the break up, Kurt wasn't ready for another relationship even though Adam was clearly interested. They became great friends, and when Adam went back to London after graduating became SKYPE buddies. In Kurt's second year at NYADA he grew even more as a performer, and started his own band.
Hi! I’m Jess, and I’ve been in the RP world for about eight years, give or take a few years. I’ve played in a lot of games, most have been sadly short-lived or non-starters. At the moment I am primarily looking for people to PSL with, though would consider a game if it was the right fit.
I like to write in 3rd person, past-tense, with a good amount of detail in each tag, with the understanding that sometimes the scene needs a couple of one or two liners to move the action along. I will play out mature scenes, or fade to black; whichever is more fitting for the game and the writers involved. I’m new to Tumblr RP, but willing to learn. I am not interested in anything where the play style is primarily gif responses, or 1st person ask replies. I’m looking for storybook style writing.
I’d like partners to be 18+, due to potential mature storylines involved in RPs, especially PSLs. Also, if you’re not feeling a scene or line, just let me know. Don’t disappear, and I’ll do the same. Honesty is the best policy, and this is for fun right? As for response times, those will vary with what’s going on IRL, but I can usually at least guarantee a couple of responses a day. If we’ve set aside time in advance for a scene, I will be much quicker.
