Taxian Jun appreciation post (part 1)

Since cultivators were often called Xian-jun (which loosely translated to "the godly one" or "the enlightened one") by the common people as a gesture of praise and respect, Taxian Jun chose his name (which loosely translated to "stepping on the godly ones") to remind everyone in the cultivation world that he was forever above them and could trample them under his boots had he seen fit. It was to mock those he defeated as well as to display his terrifying power. Fueled by hatred and heartbreak, he had turned cities to dessert, clear rivers to red with blood to position himself as the ultimate ruler of the land. Ten renowned cultivators sects were reduced to a mass of panicked followers whom feared for their lives at any given moment. Far removed from the young and kind hearted man he once was, Taxian Jun believed his heart had died along with the death of his one true love, forever buried in the snow where he knelt and begged for his lover to be saved. His lover's heart stopped beating and Moran felt his own had ceased rhythm as well. He became Taxian Jun that day. He was done with begging and crying. He wanted to take, to rob, to forever be the active party. If there was pain he wanted to be the one who caused it. If there was a price to pay than he would be the collector. And just like that he made everyone who inflicted pain and suffering in his life pay their due. The person who caused the death of his one true love had to pay the most. Only when that person bled to death, his body lifeless on the ground, could the debt be paid, or so Moran thought.
