So I’m in the process of sewing up the skirt pictured here. 

In the book it describes Esmeralda as (at one point) wearing a multicolured dress. This is what I ended up with after a bit of searching through scraps. 

I’m really interested in hearing everyone’s opinions on this: do you like it? Should I use this? If not, I have a couple more ideas. 

Also I have a little corset that I made along with a new top.

If you want to sew her a book-based dress, I’m just shyly remindind that the corset was desribed as gold.

I've decided to sew Esme a new dress.

Green. 

I've decided I want to have a dress for her to represent each popular adaptation.......so this one will be based off the musical!

So here's a better ETA for the actual story being released:

Mid-Summer 2014. I've got to build the outdoor sets (streets like this and such) and I'm **actually** going to build them in my back yard...but this requires decent weather soooo....

PRESENTING: NEW MEN! 

This isn't a photo of all of them, but I do have three new guys in here that you haven't seen. Sadly, they're all Disney. BUT: they're still men....which is a BITCH to go shopping for, let me tell you. What's even worse is I can only find white guys...which doesn't help me at all. 

But I've decided: Flynn Rider will be Master Jacques Charmolue, Prince Erik will be a soldier friend of Phoebus, and Prince Charming will probably be Louis XI. 

Any other ideas about casting these guys (other than Feebz, because he's clearly playing himself) are more than welcome!!

The tambourine and progress with my repainting other objects. 

The tambourine is made from the empty metal bit of a tea-light and golden sequins, held together with hot glue. 

The boot is supposed to be the torture device they use to crush Esmeralda's foot. It was originally a light blue. It's also going to be touched up with a darker gray, again for that touch of realism. 

The other two things you see are a plate of fruit and bread and a dagger (bet you can't guess what scene THAT will be in ;3 ) 

Both were originally entirely purple, but I'm working on fixing that and making them look...well...real. For the fruit: I'm going to paint the pears later today (maybe). One will be a yellow color, the other a green. The bread it going to get a THIN coat of brown on the top to make it look baked. 

The dagger is also going to get some brown, for the handle. I'm thinking of getting some string or something to wrap around the handle to accent it. 

Opinions? Critiques?

Claude Frollo: now 100% more older. 

I hope you all appreciate the bald spot! I literally had to sand it down....which was not easy, but I hope the crappy comb-over is good enough for you Frollophiles. 

I'm going to get myself some darker greys and go in and add some detailing to make it look a bit more realistic, but this is how it'll be for now.

Esmeralda now in her lovely new red dress! Totally handsewn by myself (took me about two days to make). 

Also, you can see her new tambourine I made! There will be close-up pics of it in another photoset.

I repainted Quasimodo's head! Yaaay! Now he is accurately ginger! :D
