asking some of the few people who give a fuck about Todd/Al, what do you think Alan's reaction to them dating would be? considering the whole Black Reign thing

I think Alan is NOT HAPPY at first. disregarding the parts of him that were unhappy about todd being with damon (the internalized homophobia parts) i think he wants Only The Best for his son and if you'd asked him during al and todd's JLA days if al was one of the best--while referring to a female superhero dating him so as not to freak him out--he would have been more inclined to agree on account of al overall being a Good Kid. but post-black reign things are much more dicey. if todd is dating a man then it needs to be a nice young man who wouldn't dream of running off to overthrow a country with black adam.

so todd and al end up having to keep it on the down-low for a while. they plan to tell him Eventually. but there's some big dramatic superhero fight where he finds out in the heat of the moment instead <3 which actually works out pretty well for them because it means alan is more happy to have todd be safe than he is mad about todd dating a former accomplice to a supervillain.

 So, Yahoo bought Tumblr. I am very sad now. Tumblr was my life source. It kept me alive for so long and now… I don’t even know what to do. I can feel my body becoming weak. You ruined it Yahoo. I don’t even want to use Tumblr now if it’s going to be run by you. I might as well start planning my own funeral because I don’t know how long I will live without my power pack. Yes, I referred to Tumblr as my power pack. Why, you might ask; because when I’m not on Tumblr the world feels all wrong, but when I’m on it, I feel my energy rise. It kept me going and now you have taken that away. Great job! I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. Do you feel good about yourself Yahoo? I’m a year late, but apparently a couple people also thought this. The url that was not fit to be printed was “colourless-cunts.”

The OP had changed their url after this post was published, so on the dashboard, Tumblr reflects the new url. But you can still see the original url when viewing on someone’s actual blog, depending on when they reblogged it. (You would also see my url as being “coffeepott” instead of “bakurapika.”)
