Bit weird for a June commission but here is Bugmansson as santa. Funny little fella tho, had my fun on him.

Defender of the Shallows
Was stuck for the last few weeks unable to do pretty much anything due to surgery, but I am finally able to paint again, as I recovered enough. This Promethean was sitting on my desk for months now, was supposed to be a completely different thing, but decided to paint him as a statue in the shallow water, unfortunatelly, the resin did not cure correctly so now he looks like standing in rough waters, despite having a fancy little shallow seabed under his legs, with shells and other doodads, that are now invisible sadly. Still, for a 5 hour job, he came out decently.
I love the way you handle black. Consistently very clean and sexy.
Thank you. It is likely because I do not do the "lighter black is grey" approach. My blacks are always brightened with colors like blues, browns or yellows, as in reality a drab black grey is almost never seen.
High season in commissions opens up with the Dweghom Hellbringer Drake painted to a Tabletop standard - usually I don't take such big models at this standard as a standalone comm, but I liked the mini enough to agree. It was fun to paint such a big mini in around 10 hours, instead of the usual 30+. The model is from Para Bellum Wargames Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings
I was gifted this Archon as a birthday present and finally decided to finish it - I went for a bit of a nostalgia/fulfillment route with it, going for a color scheme I had in mind when first starting my Dark Eldar, many, many years ago, but lacked the skills to pull it off properly and I am happy to have him look exactly, as I pictured it in my head all those years ago. :)
Jim Black Templars or something, a commission for a client, has been done for some time but could not take photos due to a sinus infection. Almost cleared up so finally could take them.
Done with the Jarl from Conquest: TLAOK - wanted to go for a Frazetta-style dynamic scene and I am happy with how he turned out!
Further progress on the Jarl, hoping to get him fully done by sunday.
Working on a Jarl from Conquest! The goo needs to dry into water then I can continue. :)
Steel Legion marches on! Found the model behind my bookcase when doing some cleaning and decided this validates him as a candidate for a quick evening paint session!
Wargaming commissions are fun and all but sometimes... sometimes someone wants something far grander and boy if there is a single word to say about Legacy of Kain, grand fits it for sure. Gonna be painting this bad boy over the coming weeks.
MiniRaja for Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings. This is a Limited Series model that was distributed on events, managed to snag one second-hand and decided it is his time in the sun over this weekend's free painting time. Love the tiny elephant, he is such a sassy fella!
Boy oh boy what a treat, managed to snag this at the back of a FLGS for 30 bucks, can't wait to paint me some Warmachine!
Was also cleaning out my "unpaid commissions" box and decided to paint this nifty dwarf, he is so Confrontation-esque I love it! Will prolly end up in some friend's DnD group.
Done a quick Revan for my brother as part of properties of light studies, really happy for the ammount of work put in (around an hour or so).
Done with the unit of Karyatids! Took me around 4 hours in total, finally able to take good footage again so I will post a tutorial video how I painted them in the coming weeks!
Finished a Mounted Strategos for my Old Dominion army, finally getting closer to the "locked in" army scheme, 2-3 more models and I'll have it fully figured out!
