Activity and Self-care list
Hi everyone, things are difficult and often I've found myself wondering what I can do to pass my time. So here are a few activities you can do indoors and ways to take care of yourselves.
Activities:-
Colour/draw
Watch a TV show or movie
Cook
Take some fun BuzzFeed quizzes
Call your friends/family and speak to them
Read a book
Try learning a skill you've haven't had time to learn before
Try your hand at puzzles like sudoku, crosswords, etc
Start a new blog on Tumblr!
If reading novels is difficult/boring, try reading some comics
Origami
Clear that drawer/cupboard you've been wanting to do since a while
Attempt a self portrait
Try drawing with your non dominant hand
Play a game online ( preferably ones which are simple and not mentally exhausting)
Build something with Legos if you have them
Self care:-
HAVE A PROPER SLEEP SCHEDULE
Have a bath each day
Eat food. It's ok to gain some weight during this period of time. But it's very important that we all keep healthy and stay energetic by eating
Play with your pet
Check on your loved ones, spend time with them virtually if you don't live with them
Sit near your window, where sunlight comes for sometime each day
Make your favourite tea/coffee/beverage
Apply a face mask
If you don't feel too good, tell you're self that it's ok. Allow yourself to feel your emotions and remind yourself that you will be okay
Meditate
Please remember to take care of yourself. Eat, sleep and breathe. These 3 things are of utmost importance. It's okay if you don't have the energy or the capacity to do any of the things in this list, don't feel bad for that. But do take care of your mental and physical health the best you can.
