What will become of me when you're gone Sure death, raw reality, hit n run Your soul won't haunt this city, it will flood this city. Eye see you everywhere, yet I sees you nowhere. The present, your presence...can't be replaced.

Light tricks. It's the little things in life that make a difference. Invite yourself to sit down with you so you can see what you're missing.
Breaking the ice
Trying to break the ice with tumblr again. its been a minute since i posted anything and i miss writing. I miss my dream journal and being an activist. I miss my best friend and will miss him so much when he leaves (when will we see each other again?) I miss reading too.

“MILK GIVES YOU STRONG BONES”
MYTH DEBUNKED – Why the dairy industry doesn’t campaign the strong bones mantra anymore: The truth is the dairy industry never had the science to prove this claim. When research was requested to prove that animal milk (such as cow’s/goat’s/sheep’s, etc. milk) gives humans strong bones, they quickly discovered that animal milk consumption actually does the opposite – it depletes the body from calcium. How does animal milk deplete your body from calcium? Like all animal protein, animal milk acidifies the body pH which in turn triggers a biological correction, and it turns out that calcium is an excellent acid neutralizer. The biggest storage of calcium in the body is obviously in the bones. So the very same calcium that our bones need to stay strong is utilized to neutralize the acidifying effect of animal milk. Once calcium is pulled out of the bones, it leaves the body via the urine so that the surprising net result after this is an actual calcium deficit and possible kidney stones. Knowing this, you will understand why statistics show that countries with the lowest consumption of dairy products also have the lowest fracture incidence in their population. Tricks.
She was driving. In other words, traveling. This city that she had inhabited since before she was born was so huge megalopolis didn't even come close to describing how big it was. She turned up the music. A CD that she had taken from a club the other night called Future Sounds of Buenos Aires. The rhythms emanating from her car's speakers encapsulated her in a world where time had no meaning. The rhythms carried her into an alter-state where everything existed as one thing at one time. Envisioning highways passing through pre-industrial villages and peoples. Through herds of animals running towards their deaths and elaborately decorated people dancing around the fire under the moon, which shown bright on that particular night. It was a half moon. And the stars. Seeing these she drove and drove towards death as well. The music filled her with a power to reach other places inside of her that weren't possible to reach without it. The cars might very well be animals, too, running towards their deaths. Or, life, it depends on how you look at it.
Staring into the earth's soul she heard and saw images and thought ideas that had never before reached her consciousness. A woman standing. Tempered breathing, light breath, although flared nostrils. Red lips and dark eyes, eyes wanting to say so many things but being impossibly hard to find words to describe....With determination She opens her mouth and as her tongue sticks out she brings a blade to it. For a moment the steel catches the setting son and sets it ablaze with light that blinds your eyes from seeing anything except the unspoken words dripping, bright red. Iron. As her tongue retreats back into her mouth the cracks in between her teeth fill with the reddish substance, and she spits the words into the earth. A part of her knows that the earth thrives off of these words, it must feel loved in order to love back. Fill me, answer me. Give and you will receive.
Strings of Thoughts
If every thought was a prayer and every thing had a soul. How much more different would life be? I read somewhere the other day that the Bald eagle, America's mascot, is becoming extinct. How ironic is that? America's soul is endangered (in danger). Harbinger, ya think? Time to move on.
My soul speaks with the other souls, I believe. The shell's soul is the ocean, and it is mine, too. I dream of it. Huge waves upon waves. Wolf in the distance standing on an ocean rock reaching out to me. Sinking. Rolling. Heavy. Drowning. Dying. Rebirthing. Floods and Surfing.
How Do We Forgive Our Fathers?
How do we forgive our fathers?
Maybe in a dream
Do we forgive our fathers for leaving us too often or forever
when we were little?
Maybe for scaring us with unexpected rage
or making us nervous
because there never seemed to be any rage there at all.
Do we forgive our fathers for marrying or not marrying our mothers?
For divorcing or not divorcing our mothers?
And shall we forgive them for their excesses in warmth or coldness?
Shall we forgive them for pushing or leaning
for shutting doors
for speaking through walls
or never speaking
or never being silent?
Do we forgive our fathers in our age or in theirs
or their deaths
saying it to them or not saying it?
If we forgive our fathers what is left?
-Dick Laurie, 1998.
