Joined at the hip, that was how everyone would have described Sam and Henry Winchester. And not without reason, either. The brothers were identical twins, born five minutes apart (Sam always made a point of making sure people knew that he was the oldest), and ever since they could crawl around on their own, they were always right beside each other. No one thought it was strange until the brothers started getting older.
By the time they were eleven years old and in their first year of middle school, nothing had changed. Sam and Henry were still as close as ever. Their father even had to request putting them in the same classes because Henry would get emotional if Sam wasn't there. The teachers expressed their concern to John, only to be told there was nothing he could do. The twins loved each other more than anything in the world, people would just have to get used to it.
Now they were both seventeen year old seniors in high school, and still, nothing had changed. Most of their peers had long since gotten used to their unusual closeness, and even the teachers knew them as 'the siamese twins'. They sat next to each other in all their classes, worked together on all group projects, ate next to each other at lunch, spent their free period doing homework together. So it was very safe to say that wherever Sam was, so was Henry, and wherever Henry was, so was Sam.
Currently, Henry was at his locker, playing a game on his phone while he waited for Sam to come back from the bathroom so they could head to forensics. He heard footsteps coming towards him after a few minutes, but didn't look up because he assumed it was his brother. He was mistaken.
"Hey, Sammy- Check this out I-" he started, only to be cut off by a hard shove to the
chest, sending his back into the lockers and his cell phone to the floor.
"Guess again, freak." the boy laughed. "You finally get separated from the other guy?
Don't think I've ever seen you two apart so long." he smirked, causing his little posse
to giggle.
Henry sighed and bent down to pick up his phone, the screen of it now cracked. "How many times do I have to tell you that we're not conjoined, CJ? I mean, hell, I knew you were stupid but come on."
Apparently that was the wrong thing to say because the bully suddenly surged forward and pinned Henry to the lockers behind him with a hand over his throat, his free hand clenched into a fist that would most likely come barreling towards his face soon. All the twin could do was hope Sam came out soon.
