Lilybet bet lay on her back, studying the stars from the center of the combat arena. There was too much going on for her liking. People were rushing around, activities were going on everywhere. She had a little bit too much of people for one night, so she had come to the one place that made her the most calm, the combat arena. Her embellished axe lay near her, she had planned to practice with it, but was preoccupied with the night sky and the quiet. That quiet was interrupted by the sound of footsteps nearing her. Lily immediately sat up, seeing perfectly through the dark. “I didn’t know anyone would be out here.” She called.
The last time Dory wore a Halloween costume she’d been 14, and that was 75 years ago. So needless to say she could only tolerate so much of the evening dressed as a cat, complete with a fluffy tail that would have pissed her off if Olivia hadn’t looked so excited to give it to her. After making an appearance with the Alice to her Cheshire Cat, Dory finally managed to slip away from the rest of the campers, headed to the place she figured would be deserted -- and where she could get some training in. Dory wasn’t going to let herself go soft while she was stuck here, waiting to rejoin the Hunters. What she wasn’t expecting was to see someone else already in the arena. Dory saw her perfecty through the darkness, initial irritation slightly mitigated by the fact that at least it wasn’t another boy she’d run into. “Neither did I,” she called back, making her way toward the middle of the arena. “Sort of an odd place to take a nap, isn’t it?”
