Smooth movements fluidly conveyed the teenager over to other as storm grey eyes fixed upon the wound. Fixed with a a storm grey stare as the other responded, speaking as the wound was carefully scrutinized by his storm grey hues. "Could help aye, I've also got some stuff for wounds, the stinging stuff that cleans them, if you want some?"
He'd asked as he'd finished scrutinizing the wound and shifted position smoothly over to his own bags. A rapid investigation of that bag by him successfully recovering a first aid bag. "Even got washing stuff for properly cleaning it if you want." Aaron offered softly there before he gently added. " Looks more recent than some, doesn't look....overly serious though but uh" He winced then. "Yer uh..." His jaw worked then as he searched for the right word as he sought to avoid...'malnourished..' the teen settling after a mo on. "Thin, could be ..unpleasant."
"...Anyway, offer's there fer med stuff and a dressing." Aaron reminded the other as he left the aid kit there, close enough for her to take it. A unspoken offer to let her use the kit without his involvement. Trust as a currency was something hard earned, he doubted he'd earned any from her and well, she hadn't earned his trust too.
She was just someone who needed help, a random malnourished human kid who was hurt. "Got food too, if you fancy some after it's cleaned.."
THEY WEREN'T EXACTLY FRIENDS. cat wasn't certain she'd label him under the sort of people she would trust with her life. but she highly doubted he was offering bogus first aid. though a bit dramatic at times due to the uncertainties in her head, the street rat didn't consider herself to be irrational. getting the wound cleaned properly would do her well; INFECTIONS were a pain and almost impossible to be rid of in her state. not without decent tending to; something he was providing right then. so green depths flickered over the bag, lips pressed as she mulled quiet contemplation. then bony fingers would snatch it up. she got to work without too many words, finding when she knew she needed to clean and dress it. the stinging, the f r u s t r a t i o n... she didn't comment on his mention of her health, but there was a brief moment where her gaze narrowed. a desire to be rude but an understanding that it wasn't a good look just then. not to be using what he gave only to spurn him over sensitivities. eventually, it was bound, and what was left was stuffed back into the bag and dropped near to him in return. cat chewed upon her tongue, knowing what she needed to say, but struggling to offer it up. it felt like a validation of being unable to handle things herself... that wasn't the case, and the situation certainly didn't make it the case... but that wouldn't stop the feeling from t w i s t i n g in her gut. an instinct by this point, because relying on anyone but herself this much was an area of danger so far as she was concerned. "...wha' kind of food? and." say it, just say it. "...thanks."
Eyes currently grey watched the other. Watched them as they reacted, took in everything about them and listened alongside that to what smell told him to what his ears murmured of. He'd made the offer with utter sincerity, knew with surety what he happened to have in in his possession on his person or in his bag.
He had two of those kits, the one he allowed the other to take from him. "If you need anything more than is there, medical stuff wise, just ask." Aaron had stated then, eyes fixed on her as he shifted his stance slightly, a boot whispering over stone as he assumed a more calm and easy stance than before. A move in a way intended to perhaps speak further to his not being a threat not that he suspected he'd be entirely successful in calming her tension.
If there was anything Aaron happened to understand quite clearly, quite deeply. Wanting to handle things yourself. Understanding the danger that even a brief choice to trust in another brought.
Understood that, though his mind failed to call up the words that would have outlined that in a way that would have ended up sufficient. So those words that presented themselves to his mind, to his well warded mind remained unvoiced. Unacted upon as he simply waited to see how they responded to his offer of food.
Waited, smiled a bit at the fact the other had thanked him as he responded to them. "You're welcome and well, its things like Jerky a few sandwiches from a shelter and packets of crisps and other stuff that lasts long." The teen responded as he opened one bag, angled it to protect the contents from the weather. Showed it to the other. "Aint a feast, but it's something." His awkward addition quickly followed by a soft. "And you're welcome to some of it, if you want, I can get more also so take as much as you like." Aaron not elaborating then, he didn't need to tell this malnourished human things he suspected she'd not believe. Just the things he wanted to tell her.
