"Ghoul," she said, popping off one shot into the thing’s head. One wasn’t gonna do it but she wasn’t a fan of finding out what was going to happen if she went back to the Jeep for a machete. Massive head trauma was going to have do the trick this time.
"So just try to make his pretty face a mess," she said, squeezing off another round. It went in somewhere to the left of where the other one had entered. She quietly thanked the powers that be for semi-automatics as once again she fired.
In some grim way, this reminded Georgia of shooting beer cans off fences with her siblings and hunting varmints on the back of the property. She’d been holding a gun longer than she could remember and in this line of work, having that little bit of red neck experience was on her side.
"Right okay, uh so we can kill it by shooting it right?" Tanya knew that just about every monster, ghost, whatever had a sort of 'trick' that was its' undoing. Usually they tended to vary, unfortunately she was still inexperienced enough that she couldn't keep track of them all. Normally she just knew how to deal with whatever she'd already had a job related to. Unfortunately, she'd never dealt with a ghoul before and wasn't entirely sure what she should be doing.
She narrowed her eyes again before giving it a good shot to the face, grinning with satisfaction as she hit the ghoul. Okay so perhaps that shot was overkill, sorta and maybe it didn't prove anything when she hit something that wasn't moving but it still made her feel good. Still, the ghoul wasn't down yet.
