Fox and Hound | Chapter 2 [Closed: Obama]
Even if Bams still hadn’t quite manage to relax out of the stiff, almost ‘I surrender’ position her hands were in as Pags continued to hug her, she was still doing a fantastic job of sounding completely unimpressed at his suggestions. Well. More unimpressed than even her usual, anyway.
“Huh. Okay. Yeah, you’re right. The concept of either of us being stabbed is absolutely hilarious. Truly this is the absolute peak of comedy. I can probably even make it last even longer by not realising you’ve stabbed me until someone points it out. I’m rolling on the floor over here.”
Pags’ weird sense of humour aside. At least Bams was noticeably seen to relax when Pags finally released her and tossed the knife onto the floor, even if it did cause her feet to quickly hop away from the general direction he seemed to be lining up the throw for. Her eyes were focused on him, the girl patiently waiting for whatever the hell would happen next- even if the best idea probably would have been to excuse herself and scoot off with some cleaning supplies, there was some kind of need to prove she could stand her ground at this point.
–Only for her stoic look to be shaken off once again as Pags just fell backwards in front of her, and almost immediately Bams herself was crouched by his side with actual sudden concern. One hand hovered by Pags’ shoulder, as though to try slide it underneath and sit him up, but the gap wasn’t quite closed just yet.
“Whoa. Hey, now. Holy shit. What the fuck was that for? But uh, okay. Okay. I know this. Can you sit up and tell me if you feel dizzy, or anything. We kinda need to get you back upstairs to deal with this one. Even you don’t wanna fuck around with a head injury, you know.”
…Probably a lot more serious than Pags expected, then.
Blink. Blink, blink. The blank look on his face slowly morphed into confusion, but then that quickly changed into a smile.
“Aha~! Look at you be so concerned!” Snickering, he puts a hand on his forehead. “It’s no big deal! I’ve hit my head quite a few times! This was nothing!”
Pagliacci tenses his abdomen as he moves his hands across his chest and sits up straight like Dracula rising from his coffin. He then turns his head so Obama could see the back.
“I don’t feel any bleeding, and I guess I take back what I said. That reaction of yours cured my boredom~! Haha! I think I can walk again!”
The treasure hunter gets off the floor and stands up. He offers Obama his hand to help her get back up. Once they were both back standing again, he does look around the room, his eyes settling on the elevator.
“I guess if you want to have a date with me I can stick around. What do you wanna go do?”
