Sorry that it isn't Decaying Winter or I hadn't posted in a while, I've been locked in on some other antics and sometimes drawing everyday/a lot gets exhausting I'm unsure if something like this was done before but the idea just wouldn't get out of my head so it just had to be done, yes, I am a fan of Left 4 Dead (2) too! Image on the right is what I think is the original

(DECAYING WINTER) Ange's Guide to Shadows: Sicklers vs Skinners!, aka a little guide for some of my friends, made for fun! Explanation/Ramble below

On my beginning days of Decaying Winter, I easily mixed up Sicklers and Skinners for some reason, but that was probably because the shadows scared me in general and I never really got to take a good look for some time and the screaming from these two did not help. A friend of mine who was far more experienced joined and help me out, I am far more better than how I was before. But I love to offer my wisdom and help out new Decaying Winter people. If this actually manages to help out? Then I'm happy about it!

Not much to show today, just Decaying Winter oc sketch stuff! The second one was very rushed because of an appointment, I think you can tell because of Ange missing half of their freckles on the last part, but it's also Ange's idea on how to make Bubba's name more noticeable to their agent friends. I did consider making tags for Ange, and Bubba I guess, for if I wanna find art of them quickly, may end up doing that sometime.

Some Decaying Winter OC stuff again.. maybe some other things too

Somethin I threw together because of my friend Deceased_42 making a soundtrack for Ange (and their hunter Bubba I guess sighh). If you're ever curious, you can find it on his Soundcloud or Youtube listed as "Ange's Theme - Decaying Winter OC Soundtrack" There is more below.

Some extra things while I'm at it because I swear I do draw a lot, most of the time it's sketches or something goofy like drawing my ocs as cats, so I wait and just clump it all together.

This one is just based on me remembering everyone puts on a mask in the Evac Protocol but the shadow doesn't so I just imagined them having to squint to see through the storm, I know that's probably not the case but I like drawing so here we go!

This one was requested by a friend a long while ago but I never shared it, I think you can tell its a bit old because of the eye color being different than how I draw them on shadows right now. I also believe on the right is the original? That was what was sent to me while I was being asked to draw the shadow hunter over it. I'll try to bring some more things later.

Ruby "Brittle" Canis in the past, sitting on a branch in the Roots. This is simply young Brittle drawn over a Roots screenshot I got in game. I have more screenshots I'll probably draw over because it was fun to do!

Brittle trying to assure another scout about the Game Awards, which I watched only because PEAK was nominated for a category and I was curious... and very bored.

Brittle after moving to a new home with her family, and her curiosity of the scouts get the best of her, so she joins the scouts.

The screenshot I took and drew over. I thought showing it would be neat, specially incase I do more of these and draw more people over the screenshots

I watched Up after a while yesterday and it gave me the idea to make this The scout with the crab hat is Krill, who belongs to @thejobblyzone The scout with the medic hat is Harriet, who belongs to @goatheadreal and the scout with the scar is Hartwell, who belongs to another friend on Discord The zombie scout with the wolf ears is Brittle, who belongs to me

Showing my PEAK goober here too, I may forget to post about her later on but yeah, her name's Ruby, nicknamed Brittle, because when I first drew her, I jokingly said she was brittle because of me being new before and easily getting fall damage. The other scouts belong to my sisters. @goatheadreal and @judgementbirdbigbirdlittlebird GoatHead having the scout with the three eyes named Harriet and Morbus having the scout with the crab hat, doodles/sketches can be seen below!

The one doodle of Ruby with the cookie box is her when she was younger, some years before the crash and expedition. Also there are doodles of zombie Ruby WITH the mushrooms but they have another friend's scout and I don't wanna post it till I get his permission Also yes I gave her a wolf nose because of the ears, the doodles of her without the nose are older and were done before the reference sheet

What I love about the zombies in PEAK is that they really show just how dangerous the island can be for the scouts. Sure. There's the lava, snowstorms, poison, and more, but I don't really feel how dangerous it can be sometimes. But with the Roots? The zombies tell me everything I need to know about the Roots. The damage the biome can really do to us if we aren't careful. This ramble probably means nothin, but I love these guys, I feel really bad for em but yeah, here's a zombie just.. waiting.. for someone.. something to bite and infect. Im aware I colored the neck thing wrong Im sorry but its late and I dont wanna change it (also its almost midnight I really gotta get this post out graaahhhh)
