Controversial take about If I Had Legs I'd Kick You but Linda is clearly a shit mom but everyone seems so impacted by the story that they're implying she's "doing all she can" when that's not the case

centering your own desires and making bad choices which leads you to have to face those consequences does not make me feel sympathy for you

I think we can acknowledge that it was a complex story about motherhood and caregiving and expectations and womanhood without pretending that anything she did was really about her daughter at all
