🌪 Fujin Headcanons 🌪

Fujin is a lot more amiable and fun-loving than his strict brother Raiden, so he gets along well with people rather easily.

He has a good bond with Kung Lao. He is one of the only people who doesn’t mock Kung Lao and treats him with respect. Kung Lao’s mischievous and sarcastic nature never fails to amuse Fujin, especially when it ticks off Raiden. Kung Lao considers Fujin to be a mentor and good friend.

As a god, brother of Raiden, and powerful fighter, Fujin has Liu Kang’s respect. Fujin often tries to encourage Liu Kang to relax a little more often, as he worries Raiden is working the poor boy ragged.

Fujin and Johnny Cage are very wacky friends. They share one (1) braincell when they are hanging out together, with Fujin holding the brain cell most of the time.

Despite their differing personalities, Fujin and Raiden’s bond as brothers is rather strong. They are eachother’s most trusted confidant. He always seems to know what to do and say when Raiden is feeling emotionally conflicted, giving calming and positive vibes when the thunder god needs them. Likewise, Raiden is good at giving his younger brother advice on nearly any problem a god can have, and trains with him to make sure his skills stay sharp. They do have their typical sibling disagreements from time to time, but they still love eachother very much and will do anything to protect one another.

Despite his fun-loving personality, Fujin is still responsible and can be serious when needed. He doesn’t enjoy taking lives, but will do so without hesitation if he must. He can have an intimidating aura to his opponents, especially if he has been angered (which is rare). His wind power is overwhelming and deadly (he can kill someone instantly with a quick gust of wind), and he has perfected his fighting technique over thousands of years, easily making him one of the strongest kombtants. He is a kind, good-hearted god, but is also the farthest thing from a pushover.
