you know when you smell something so particularly bad that it lingers in your nose/scent receptors for extended amounts of time?

---in my headcanon, scarecrow's fear toxin not only causes visual hallucinations, but also hallucinations affecting scent. like, yes seeing scary shit would be terrifying, but what would really plus it up is if it causes one to just imagine the scent of say, charred meat/burnt hair/decaying carcass or flesh/etc.

maybe even after one of his victims recover from being exposed to the fear toxin, they just can't shake the smell of whatever for days and days, maybe even weeks, months or years? that's the type of thing that would absolutely drive me insane (and i think that jonathan would really enjoy that)

i started reading before watchmen: rorschach, and...

y'all weren't kidding, it is kinda bad.

why is he swearing like that?? my true sugar cube eater would never speak in such a way.

i think he would use slurs though ...so theres that.

the way he talks/writes is so off, the "my mother (may she rot in hell)" (or whatever, im paraphrasing) made me eyeroll, like i dont think rorschach cares about his mother enough to even really write about her or anything of the sort-- at least right off the bat. especially cuz he's on a moral high horse about her "profession" and stuff, like its beneath him- he doesnt even need to acknowledge it.

sorry i am in hater mode but ill keep reading and such of course. lmk yalls thoughts or if im wrong or something idk.
