There was a slight hint of familiarity that struck a flame within Sidian’s mind, then again, he knew most of the slaves that were in the cells. Those that were claimed were not as well known to him but he doubted they would have been making an attempt at getting to the docks as he assumed the others would be attempting. His beloved plants moved around him at his will, doing so from the back and front of his shop as well, however, he would be the first thing that anyone saw before he made his plants over take them. It wasn’t that he couldn’t handle anyone directly with his magic, this was simply more fun than he was willing to admit. As the figure drew closer the familiarity that once made him perk a brow now made his smile broaden in absolute amusement.
He soon was moving closer to her as well, a low chuckle leaving his lips as he finally came within a few paces of the she-wolf. “Ahhh, what a good girl, come to find me in this moment of disarray… I’m almost proud.” He cooed, tone very much genuine, she must have fought her way here he was sure. At least at some point, but otherwise she did not look harmed.
With a tilt of his head Sidian inspected her better, dark hues calculating and almost worried that someone had gotten to her before he could again. There wasn’t a soul he wanted punishing Kora but himself, there was a selfish motive hidden behind his cruel acts, a selfish one that was more intimate than he would ever be willing to admit. This was the closest to affection as he would ever get. The plant which grew on his also burst forth from the cracks and quickly made their way up the she-wolfs legs to hold her in place as he moved around to circle her. Coming back around to face her Sidian huffed out a small and almost satisfied sigh, hand moving from his pocket to let his fingers graze against her chin lightly.
Just as slow and sudden as the act had been did Sidian drop his hand away, letting the vines retreat from her form. There was, of course, only one other reason she could have been in this area– the docks, perhaps he was not as deep into her mind as she was in his. This, naturally, was a problem and it caused his brow to crease just a little. “Unless, of course— you were trying to make a break for it. In which case, I would be very disappointed in you my sweet. Say it isn’t so–” His voice pleaded in a mocking way, not really meant to make her feel mocked, but definitely an attempt to hide the real plea within his statement. He wanted her to have sought him out instead of simply been trying to make a break for it.
Disgust floored Kora the moment she heard the tone of Sidian’s voice. She felt sick with nervous energy, dizzy even. What was she doing there? The shewolf stopped in her blind tracks. Sidian was in front of her - there was no need to move further forward. If she did so, she may just run into him. She wanted to turn back. “That’s not...” She tried to deny it, yet her voice trailed off during the attempt. What was the point? After all, it wouldn’t do to piss him off this time. Not when she...needed him. They had been here before, in their shared past before the island. A past that at any other given moment Kora wished to erase. But when it truly came down to it - if she had to pick a punishment from him or some guard or resident - he would win for some twisted, unexplored reason or another. She didn’t have time to explore the thought.
Kora heard the strange sounds of the vines growing and moving toward her, but she could not see them. Fear gripped her yet again and she took a shaken, but defensive step back, only to feel the vines creep up her ankles and lock her in place. Without her sight this alone was much worse on her - even if she desperately wanted to escape, her lack of eyesight was much too hindering and she was no blind Daredevil.. Fear and determination had only gotten her this far. But that was as far as it went - once here, she had no idea what to do or say. However, she could feel him - feel his eyes on her as he took deliberate and confident steps around shaken form. This was what she chose to focus on, head tilting in the direction he chose to take as she listened to his footfalls. She’d be a fool to trust him completely.
She flinched away from his gentle touch, not knowing what to expect from him here. Part of her expected some form of backhanded slap, humiliation. Nothing so...simple. “Sidian...” She started, refusing to allow her voice to shake. “Sidian, I can’t see. I can’t see anything.” And that lack of control frightened her more than anything else. But as the vines retreated, she felt better. “Do you honestly think I’d get very far if I were...” She said as she reached out until her hand made contact with his chest and expensive fabric of his suit. Granted - Kora had found him. But familiar scent was much easier for her to track down. And she had needed something to focus on in her panic.
“Please just...just help me.”
