The Possible Reason Why Sapphire Was So Upset

Back in Keystone Hotel, the only reason why Sapphire was slightly more under control, was because she could see the future clearly and that she was aware the situation would resolve soon enough. Now, she was still visibly upset but never yelled.

This is a completely different reaction from what we received in that episode. Sapphire full blown yells in Ruby’s face and then warps away. Garnet told Steven just 3 episodes before that she was having issues with her future vision and couldn’t see any of the possible futures. Perhaps that’s the reason behind her anger: Garnet never saw this as a possible future.

With this being said, Garnet isn’t used to being caught off guard and knowing any and all outcomes, being ready to face the situation or at least aware. She’s still adjusting to the unpredictable. Garnet has relied on her future vision for years and now that she doesn’t have that, she’s terrified. Her one tool that helped her figure out how to go about a certain situation isn’t there anymore.

Perhaps I’m completely off and it’s simply the fact that Garnet was lied to for thousands of years even though she trusted Rose with her life. She was never put in the situation to even think of possible futures regarding PD, thus never stumbling upon this fact.
