I’ve always noticed that people are always bitterly harsh, judgmental and insolent towards those celebrities who started out as child artists but eventually grew up and decided not to be eternally associated to their previous childish personas and choose a different and mature path. It just appalls me that the media and general public have always been illogically and obnoxiously critical and offensive to them and forgetting that every human being has the right to be liberated and make their own decisions regarding their professions and personal lives. They’re growing up in front of the entire world just like any normal individual so we can’t foolishly expect them to maintain their innocence and keep their careers reliant to the young audience for the rest of their lives. We all are on an endless journey to self-discovery and character-development, we evolve, grow, have experiences and develop new thoughts, emotions and even personalities on a daily basis so we can never assume that a 12 years old person will remain exactly the same when they’re in their 20s. None of us is obligated to like or support celebrities (or even acquaintances) whom we’re not fascinated by their images, behaviors and personalities but we must at least respect everyone’s freedom of choice. ✨

As most of you know, Niantic launched a location-based augmented mobile game called Pokemon Go and many people around the globe (including me) have been exceedingly addicted to it, the game that allows its players to locate the virtual creatures in order to catch them, I must say that it’s a brilliant game and one of the reasons why I adore it is because it reminisced a part of my childhood when people were severely obsessed with Pokemon in 1998-2000. But I have to admit that a part of me wanted a similar game for Digimon as well but we all know that it wouldn’t nearly be as successful as Pokemon Go since it’s an undeniable fact that Pokemon has always been far more superior in terms of popularity and relevancy. However, I’m absolutely not ashamed to confess that I’ve always personally preferred Digimon over Pokemon and I’ve decided to use this post to explain why :-

1) Digimon has always contained more diversity in its characters, we had new numerous characters for each season and every one of them had his/her own personality/story which made it easier for the audience to relate to any character they like while Pokemon has been mostly about Ash.

2) In Digimon, the characters were chosen to be “Digi-Destined” in order to protect both of the Digital & Real Worlds from the chaos and evil that threatens their peace and stability. On the other hand, Pokemon was only about how Ash aspires to be the best trainer in the world and collect all the powerful Pokemons which seemed to be kind of selfish in a way, the Digi-Destined didn’t care for that kind of glory… They just strove to accomplish what they were tasked for and then get back to their normal lives as kids and students… their objective was more selfless, admirable and noble.

3) An important factor why I like Digimon more is the fact they’ve aged their characters unlike Ash who was always 10 throughout the entire seasons. Character-development is always essential and important in movies, series or novels.

I guess many people feel this way at some point of their lives, you feel like there's something missing in your life and the only way to fill the void within you is by putting on a mask and pretending to be someone completely different from yourself in order to gain the illusion that you're prettier, funnier, cooler, more desirable, lovable and cheerful. But someday you'll have to go back to your true self and learn to accept it because no matter how lonely you may feel... It's still your truest form and there has to be at least one person in the world who finds the real you to be beautiful 😊💕

I've read so many vitriolic comments regarding the issues between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, some people vowed to boycott Depp and his films while others accused his wife of being a fraud and a liar who seeks money or publicity, so all I have to say is that we haven't witnessed what truly happened between them, we still don't know what goes behind the closed doors, so let's not interfere with their personal matters or judge EITHER of them because it's no secret that the Hollywood industry is absolutely fake and deceptive. Therefore, you're not obliged to stop watching any of Johnny's films if the accusations against him turned out to be true, he's just an entertainer and his personal actions, deeds and decisions aren't our concern. However, you're also not obliged to falsify Amber's statement since you still lack evidences. Simply, we are not Gods and hence it isn't our job to judge people for things we haven't even witnessed.

I’m so thankful that Azealia Banks’ Twitter account is finally suspended because audacious, obnoxious, disrespectful and racist cyberbullies like her don’t deserve to get the opportunity to work in the music industry. She has continuously created unreasonable feuds with numerous celebrities and thrown aggressive and racial slurs at them just to prove her points and now she has decided to insult an actress who’s younger than her by 11 years and her innocent mother… I just couldn’t think of a valid reason why she acts so harshly and bluntly towards fellow artists, fans and people in general because she’s at a age where she’s supposedly old enough to comprehend that her rude attitude is definitely going to affect her career (and possibly social life) in a negative way since people wouldn’t consider purchasing her music or attending her concerts or even simply encountering her anymore because arrogance and disrespect destroy every celebrity’s image, she might obtain a pitiful recognition for consistently fighting with people on social media but nobody from the music industry or the general public will ever respect her unless she decides to show some repentance and be a kind person with positive manners and attributes. Hopefully someday she’ll gain some maturity and take responsibility for the hurtful things she has said so far.

Lately I've been playing this video game and I feel incapable of being eloquent enough to express my love and obsession with it, I absolutely love its beautiful and addictive fantasy realm because every-time I play it I feel like I temporarily leave my dull world and enter a more exciting and vivid dominion . in addition to that, I love the deep moral behind the game ; when people allow themselves to be consumed by hatred, spite, greed and malevolence, their souls start to putrefy and they slowly lose the humaneness and benevolence within them and unconsciously transform into mindless, instinctive beasts. Another factor that I love about this game is how diverse the protagonists are so the players can pick any character that might suit their personality or be relatable to them ! I'm anxiously looking forward to watching the anime that will be based on the game 😍

People who walk away

It’s been an ugly truth that not everyone we meet, love, adore or consider our best friend is meant to stay in our lives for eternity, ever since the beginning of time… many people have had their hearts broken due to their beloved ones’ decision to desert them suddenly and without any logical explanation… leaving their restless minds flooded with unanswered questions about their estrangement of them, but why don’t the ones who decide to distance themselves from us ask themselves these questions? Why don’t they ask themselves why they started resenting us ? Or why would they overlook the good times they spent with us or the good things we did for them or the beautiful memories they share with us ? Or is it really worth it to push the people who truly cared about them away and leave them terribly disappointed and heartbroken ? We all are aware of the fact that when someone we admire is insistent on leaving us… There’s nothing we can say or do to change their minds and make them stay, so we should always let them leave… Because no matter how the relationship seemed complicated or unsalvageable… The ones who care enough about us will always find a good reason to keep us in their hearts… we shouldn’t bother ourselves wondering about any one-sided separation because… As quoted, “The people who walk away are not meant to be a part of your future… Let them go, your life is with those who stay… And deserve all of you” 💕

These three artists (especially Marina and Melanie) deserve more fame and recognition tbh… Because unlike most of the current singers… They don’t entirely reply on showing their bodies or making provocative (or pornographic) videoclips to arouse or attract the audiences and what’s more important is that they are vocally talented and express true passion through their music and most of their songs contain deep, concise and meaningful lyrics regarding adolescence, society, love, individualism and other things that can be absolutely relatable to anyone, I really want the media and general public to pay more attention to them.

In my humble opinion, the 90s/2000s tv shows were more vibrant and meaningful than most of the latest shows that are being aired nowadays. For example, these two shows taught me a lot of essential things regarding life as a kid and prepubescent boy ... Charmed taught me the importance of family bonding and that no matter how much we differed from our parents, siblings and family members in general... the link that binds us together is more powerful, magical and infinite than our problems, differences, resentment, quarrels and disagreements... Which is why our family should always be our eternal priority because they are the pieces that we need in order to be whole. On the other hand, Buffy taught me that even if I tried to delude myself into believing that I'm strong enough to be emotionally and functionally alone, I'll always need my friends to limitlessly increase my strength, confidence, willingness & bravery to encounter the obstacles in my life. It truly saddens me that these classics seem to have become forgotten and that their influence and recognition have somewhat diminished for the past 10 years while meaningless, provocative and shallow (tv or reality) shows are now continuously invading t.v channels and social medias... No wonder why the new generation is more absurd that we are.
