just a little thingy mmhm
so i used to post personal journal stuff on here once upon a time but not really anymore and that’s because too many people follow this blog o.o
and over the past year and a half i’ve gotten especially especially cautious about what i say here, and more suspicious of my motives for posting what i do. i know this blog has become more focused on music and reblogs but also less active. the person who got me into tumblr has moved on (to pinterest, i think?). time walks forever onward. drags me along.
I know what I want to say but I’m not quite sure how to say it, really. And when I blog original text posts my stuff just generally tends to be very private, an internal dialogue that doesn’t really try to make concessions to clarify my thoughts for whatever stranger happens to chance across it, and to follow all this up with such a meta post feels self-important. But. Personal posts may happen on occasion under this blog, but will likely stop at least for the time being. I just don’t feel safe speaking of specific people in my life to followers who may know those people, and I would like to exercise more control over who reads the things that I post about my own life.
That being said, I have made a private blog, and if you want to you can message me and I’ll give you the URL if I feel safe enough to do so (if I don’t know you your chances are probably higher than if I do, and if I know you from Taiwan your chances are pretty okay, and if I know you from Montreal I probably won’t feel comfortable).
