// It’s been a little more than a year since I’ve been active but I’m glad I was able to log in and see old and new faces alike as well as remember all the good times I had on here. I really do miss getting to write as Erszi and interacting with all of you through her. I hope someday I’m able to pick her back up again and continue where I left off, because writing this character in all of her flaws and perfections has taught me a lot.                   ❝          don’t—…don’t—…don’t tell me how much is too much,❞   he slurs,  leaning his head on the table and exhaling a loud,  long sigh that reeks of alcohol.     he wants to drink an entire bottle,  an entire ten bottles  ——  he feels like an overwhelming failure,  but with  VODKA  on board,  the feeling is numbed a fair bit.  

                   ❝        that ублюдок AMERICA  got to the moon before i did  ——  i tried so hard to beat him there,  and it was all for nothing.❞     he doesn’t know why he thinks hungary will care,  but she’s an ear that can listen,  and in his very drunken state,  that’s all that matters.

                                                                    PERHAPS she would simply have to resort to sneaking the bottle out from under him once the stupor kicked in.  that is , if she couldn’t reason with him .   alcohol poisoning couldn’t necessarily kill him , however , it still wasn’t one of the most pleasant experiences.    ‘     COMPROMISE  with me at the very least . drink a glass of  WATER  before you get back to downing the vodka ?    ’

     Anneliese was not sure if complaining to the Empress would truly change anything, or if she was simply trying to give Erzsébet a reason to stop working against the Austrian woman. Anneliese was tired of fighting with the other woman, and when Erzsébet mentioned Friedrich, Anneliese couldn’t help but roll her eyes.

            “ He is a King of fools. He takes what isn’t his and he will surely not last long because he is angering everyone here in Europe. Just wait until he attacks Hungary as well. ”

                                                              ‘    UNDERSTOOD , given we are both women . but, you must realize that you are certainly treated with more respect than  I  am . that is why i inquired .  ’    the statement rolls from her tongue in a brief scoff. ‘   the rumors are getting more and more ridiculous by the day . apparently i’m so barbaric that i once ate the hearts of bears RAW.   an original one  , truly.   i cannot wait until you & i relay this DISRESPECT to the empress. ’

         erzsébet was for sure anything but oblivious to the austrian woman’s annoyance at the mention of the prussian king.  AND CERTAINLY , she was definitely not passive enough to leave it be.   ‘   a king of fools who RESPECTS the efforts of valiant hungarians , unlike their  ACTUAL ALLIES ... if it were not for our current political situation , i can assure you  HUNGARY  would rather aid friedrich than fight against him.  ’

     Anneliese had never been one to make spontaneous decisions or simply do something without thinking about any consequences. But when Erzsébet had gotten the idea to take a riding tour through the woods, Anneliese couldn’t simply say no. She welcomed this activity because it would surely bring her to forget about her worries for once. But she still thought that they should at least tell someone beforehand.

                                                                NO ------ erzsébet was not  MEANT  for marriage. rather ,  she despised it  ;  the idea that someone else could hold  ANY  sort of responsibility over her ,  the obedience & pliability that were often expected of married women  ,  the notion that she was no longer an INDIVIDUAL BEING  ...   it was all contradictory to the independence that she so desperately NEEDED. it is no surprise that ordinarily lively hungarian has become so solemn & brooding .  spiteful eyes are briefly ABSORBED in the diamond set upon her finger  , reddened lips curling downwards with repulsion before redirecting her gaze to her old friend .    ‘   oh, god ------ you don’t think they’ll make me  LIVE  with him, too, do you ?   ’

Having gotten in trouble plenty of times in her long life, Czasława knew how to navigate around obstacles so she was able to make her way through the halls quite easily and at almost her normal running speed.  She simply let out a laugh as the other girl called out.  “I’m not lucky, I’m skilled.  There’s a difference.”  If Czasława could just keep it up until she got outside she would win for sure.
