If you are an administrator or a travel coordinator for your company, consider yourself warned.
First, there is not direct hotline for group booking. Everything is strictly via email. Also expect all answers to be template. In a world where everything is digitalized, even human will mimicked a computer to appear diplomatic.
Secondly, each booking for will be for 20 passengers max. So if you have 40 pax, you will be doing the booking in two batches. You will need to fill up an excel spreadsheet of your travellers. No big deal, common practice for group booking across most airlines. But Scoot takes it to another level. You will need to upload the freaking spreadsheet onto their online portal reserved for group booking. So any mistakes on the bookings will be on you. (Wash hands)
Thirdly, they will send you and email of the booking cost with some enticing T&Ca benefits only for Group Booking. Like you can change name with 48hrs before departure date, blah blah..
HOWEVER, remember the part where you have to upload the spreadsheet. I save you the time of reading more into the policies page, full of bullshits that normal ppl aside from lawyers, won’t understand. If you click submit, no changes can be done. If you insist on a name change, you will need to pay $90 change fee + fare change/per way. The cost of change may have cost more than the ticket you bought under group booking.
Scoot is very INFLEXIBLE. So be warned.
