Hi everyone! I'm Lea, and I like to read sometimes—well, truth be told, more than just sometimes. I post reviews, recommendations and all kinds of other bookish stuff. 📚📚

I usually read a mix of genres. From non-fiction over contemporary/literary to romance and fantasy novels. Most of the books I read are in English, but there are also some German books in the mix.

bingewatching will never come close to bingereading. there is nothing like blocking out the entire Earth for ten hours to read a book in one sitting no food no water no shower no bra and emerging at the end with no idea what time it is or where you are, a dried-up prune that's sensitive to light and loud noises because you've been in your room in the dark reading by the glow of a single LED. it's like coming back after a three-month vacation in another dimension and now you have to go downstairs and make dinner. absolutely transcendental

I Got Abducted By Aliens And Now I’m Trapped In A Rom-Com was one of the most unhinged and hilarious things I’ve read in a while. It had me giggling and laughing like a mad woman the entire time I was reading! I loved the absolute absurdity that seemed to follow Dory around on this alien planet. All she wanted was to get back home to her research, but instead she found aliens, dinosaurs, talking lion, and not one but two mates who can shoot fireballs from their tails. And I have to give kudos for the (mostly) good natured competitiveness between Lok and Sol (Dory’s mates). They were hilarious with trying to one up each other every chance they got. They had me giggling so much! This was such a fun read and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one. I Got Abducted By Aliens And Now I’m Trapped In A Rom-Com is getting a solid four stars from me!

It's definitely made me more empathetic. I mean, this is something everybody says about reading all the time: that it'll make you able to relate more closely to others. But it's so fucking true and so important! Especially in times like these...
