chuerie:
when speaking of poetry she immediately thought of one individual, a male in particular, a few lines of his favourite poem reminiscing itself in her head. it was vague though, but enough to relate to this conversation especially, the details of a broken love expressed in the piece. but then on the other hand, things like that made her think if writers actually feel how their lyrics express, or if their imagination is just so easily expandable. sometimes sheâs tried to write little poems or things like that, but she always reverts back to being the one with her nose stuck in a book. thatâs her forte, reading about feelings rather than expressing them majority of the time.Â
âfeelings are like a snowflake then, right? everyoneâs heart is unique and not like anothers⌠and only small parts that others have can be understoodâŚâ the statement had her thinking deeper for a moment, eyes widening at how she was able to piece something together. instead of digging any deeper though she giggled below her breath, her arms playfully flailing as she let out that exasperated âaaaaah,â at her overall realization. âunnie, iâd rather make macaroni art to show emotions⌠itâs so much easier! if i make a heart it means iâm feeling loving, and i can make food shapes to show my hunger.. this could be the new thing of the future, really.â
âExactly. The only thing a snowflake resembles is itself-- You know, how snowflakes are the most basic example of a fractal? And how people are actually, according to some art theories, made up of fractals too. It all makes sense.â Yeeun nodded along to the youngerâs voiced train of thought, somewhere at the back of her mind surprised even further at the intricate ways she was capable of thinking in. These conversations that stimulated her to actual mental exercise were her absolute favorite -- and even as Jisoo fell back into the more casual and obviously comfortable tone, Yeeun still was more than thankful for the brief reflection on the matter of art.
Ushering a laugh, her eyebrows nearly met one another in the middle of her forehead, as she thought rather intensely about the so-called macaroni art. âAre you actually inventing a new artistic trend, or is it just a so very subtle way of you telling me between the lines something like âunnie, stop being steep and boring and buy me foodâ?â She asked with a humorous note to her tone, watching the younger one with just the rigth amount of friendly doubt.
