Lizzie had spent most of the week so far either sleeping in late, lounging on the beach with a book, or taking one of the many, many yoga classes on offer in a bid to make this one week off before she dove into the last two months of production on WandaVision as relaxing as humanly possible. By the end of the week, she was definitely relaxed but starting to feel stir-crazy, which had compelled her to finally put on actual clothes in the form of a light sundress and make her way down to one of the bars just off the beach to enjoy a little bit of the last afternoon sun, the warm buzz of conversation around her, and yes, her book. She’d brought a book to a bar, because that was just how she was. She was on her second glass of wine and her third chapter so far when a familiar accent pulled her back to reality, glancing up to see Chris’ towering figure on the other side of the bar, having just put in a drink order. She hadn’t thought he’d made it out to Bali, but she was happy to be wrong - it had been ages since they’d gotten a chance to hang out. “Hey stranger,” she called out, grinning as she waited for him to locate her in the crowd.
