In the distance you can see a very familiar child helping the townsfolk clean up the aftermath of the festival.

Jaroslav looks down from the tree he’s nestled into, noticing a familiar-looking figure, short in height, collecting together bundles of what look like jewlery. Excitedly, he kicks downward, grasping at footholes on instinct as he waves his right hand in the direction of the child.

“Hey!” he calls, landing on his feet with an expectedly loud crack. Unharmed, he excitedly approaches the boy.

Chun was just there, helping a stall owner put away his jewelry when he saw the man child himself rush over to him.

Chun giggled softly, grinning up at the man. “Hello Anxiety, it has been a while!” He greeted with enthusiasm.

“My favorite caretaker!!”

Jaroslav beams back at the other, his eyes crinkling in laughter at the teasing nickname. He leans down to pat the tiny god on the head.

“I haven’t seen you since—god, winter probably— what’ve you been up to? Anything new? Oh! Do you need help with that?” he asks, gesturing to the beads in the child’s arms.

“My magical pals do you mean gods?” Erika tilted her head curiously. “Chun and Qiu have a forest near here, and they’re very nice! Sometimes when Gil’s away I go and bring them some tea!” She smiled brightly, her eyes twinkling. “I’ve met some enlightened humans! There‘s a nice man named Jaro who stays here sometimes, he’s looking for his sister. There’s a nice enlightened man who sometimes joins me for tea, his name is Roderich! There’s also Harper! She’s a god of travel and is really nice, she taught me how to make flower crowns.”
