Rose whined quietly. The child really didn’t mind it when Pearl volunteered to help get her dressed in the mornings. But she wasn’t going to straight up tell her that she had issues getting her buttons lined up.

The gem showed no signs of tiring, twirling and prancing about. She watched behind her as the smaller gem child mimicked her movements, though not as precise.

Rose pouted just a bit as she danced. After all the child was dancing to the best of her ability. Unfortunately, she was starting to grow hungry and tired. But she didn't tell Pearl in fear of upsetting the tall gem.
