it’s time for some announcements! 

first off, we’d like to announce the winners of our development contest: @kmckinons (liv), @cortexiphanschild (cat) and @gogoslytherin (derek); congratulations, you’ve won a third reserve! please send in your preferred faces through our ask box and we’ll get right on adding those to the reserves list. we’d like to thank everyone for participating in the contest, we loved seeing all your lovely characters in the tag and we can’t wait to see them in action on the site!

and of course, as promised, everyone who entered in the development contest gets early access to the site; we’ll be reaching out to you and sending you the link shortly. 

second; we’ve decided on an opening date and time! #hybbrp will be opening its doors on january 25th at 3pm pst / 5pm est / 10pm gmt! 

lastly, with the site so close to opening, we’ve decided to close reserves til site opening. this gives us the time to get all the current reserves properly added to the face claim and to get some last minute site things in order. so any reserves send in from this point onwards (with the exception of the third reserves for the contest winners) will not be added.

we know it’s fun to do development stuff when you have a face set and a character brewing in the back of our minds which is why we’re holding a post reserves prompt based development contest. the three lucky winners of this contest will win one extra (a third reserve) and any participants we have will get early access to the site a day before we open !

create a playlist, aesthetics board, character graphics, ficlets, fanfiction really whatever you want based on one of the following prompts: - a parallel (think characters from a book / tv series / movie) - a hide-away spot (think childhood treehouse, nooks and crannies in old houses, memories of safe places) - a movie synopsis (what would the movie about your character’s life be called / be about) - a home (think dream home, actual home, home in the shape of a person) - a bucket list (what’s on it, what’s at the top, what’s stopping the character from striking things off the list, what made them make a list in the first place) - a dream job (think realistic or out of the box) - a hidden talent (think being able to put your fist in your mouth, think amazing singing voice, think green thumbs) 

please tag all your entries as #hybbpromptdev and on tuesday january 24th at 5:30 pm EST we will put all the entries in a randomizer and pick three names and give all our participants early access !

hey all! we're about one hour away from the opening of reserves (at 4pm eastern) so we just wanted to give you a few quick reminders. first, everyone is allowed to reserve two faces at this time, regardless of gender. if you already won an early reserve, that means you can reserve one additional face for now for a total of two. all pbs must be at least 18 years old, and should be within +/- 5 yrs of the character's age. we allow signed models, actors/actresses, athletes, and musicians as faces, with the exception of those who are deceased or have asked not to be used for rp purposes.

if you're sending in reserves for someone else, remember to send them in a separate ask. we'd also love it if you could send your reserves in off anon if possible, so we don't flood the tumblr with replies. please use the following format when sending in your reserves, and be sure to wait until we announce that they've opened before sending them in.
