seems like it's just one of those days — she comes up to him in one of her tiniest of forms, uses her beak to wriggle her way into his arms so that, maybe even a little, she might find some comfort. a soft coo, a nuzzle of her head against his jaw, before she lowers it to rest against his chest, and goes silent again.

           his hand only comes to rest against her gently - and even then it’s only to keep her in place. he doesn’t mind the cooin, lets her nuzzle against him and gently reciprocates. he’s a beacon of warmth in the house depsite his cold blooded nature, and he’s sure that the cold of winter isn’t helping her any.
