Hey everyone… so I just saw this on twitter and I hope you’re all aware that Killing Stalking is available on the Lezhin websites? I know that many more people are starting to like Killing Stalking and that they are probably coming from sites like the one mentioned above, but those sites are illegal!!
Please do not tweet Koogi saying that you’ve discovered or read her manhwa on these illegal sites. This is the second time this has happened.
Is it good to tweet Koogi you love KS? Of course! This makes her very happy. Is it good to tweet her that you love KS and you’ve been reading the manhwa she’s working so hard on/her income is depending on illegally?
Koogi’s manhwa is officially licensed in English by Lezhin Comics. This means that when you read Killing Stalking on sites other than Lezhin, you are hurting Koogi’s revenue. This is why I have the official links in my description. The last thing I want to do is to hurt Koogi. The first two chapters of KS on Lezhin are free, but you have to purchase coins to read the rest. At first glance, this sucks, but read on to understand how you can get coins in a reasonable way.
Coins can be purchased starting for $3.99 which equals to 14 coins. This gives you enough for 4 chapters of KS. And if you sign up for the first time, they give you an extra 7 coins which equals to you having 21 coins. This gives you enough for 7 chapters of KS. This lasts to about a month and a half without having to purchase coins again.
PLUS, if you’re an Android user and you sign up for the Lezhin Comics Plus app, they give you 10 coins for free! I’m not an Android user, but I’m sure you end up with 31 coins in total if you get the 14+7 deal too. This is enough for 10 chapters of KS which is a little more than two months without having to purchase coins again.
ADDING ON TO THAT, if you like Lezhin’s Facebook page you’ll be updated on their coin specials! They also sometimes have little coin giveaways for random users which I think is really nice of them to do.
I understand that many of you cannot purchase KS for a number of different reasons and that’s why you use other sites. If you absolutely cannot afford to purchase coins for KS, I can understand.
But, if you can afford to purchase coins for KS, please consider Koogi.
I don’t usually purchase subscriptions or anything like subscriptions unless they are deals, but I really think Lezhin’s prices are reasonable enough for me to want to do so.
Plus, Koogi is a sweetheart and I want her to be successful. AND, the thing is, Killing Stalking is licensed in English! Those other illegal sites post the translations done by Lezhin and earn money for it.
This not only hurts Koogi, but also the company and the company’s employees and the families they support.
If you look into it, webtoons in South Korea are only just starting to regain their popularity. This means that this industry is only just starting to become profitable again.
Imagine all the hard work Koogi does and the Lezhin translators do only to not profit from it where it can be profitable. Koogi is contracted to update weekly, not monthly. I can’t even think about how hard she works on each chapter.
And I don’t even want to think about how she feels when she sees other illegal sites uploading her work and earning the money that she should be earning.
When I learned that I had to pay to continue reading Killing Stalking, I honestly considered dropping the series. But, I took a look at my budget and I figured out a way I could.
I’m not telling you all who absolutely can’t afford to purchase it to do this but again, if you can, please try to.

I believe this is the best way you can get Lezhin to create easier ways to earn/get coins. I wrote to another service I used and after some persistence, they worked to incorporate my suggestion. And do not message their tumblr your suggestions. You have to email them. That is the way it becomes something for them to take into consideration. I hope this helps some of you!
