Hello. You once mentioned that you really didn’t like the TV series *Dickensiana*. Out of curiosity, I watched it recently, and I was very outraged by the portrayal of miss Havisham as some sort of amoeba, stripped of all the haughtiness and eccentricity of the character in the book. Young Honoria Barbari also lost all complexity and turned into a typical "sweet girl".

The most irritating characters—and the ones bearing absolutely no resemblance to the canon—were Fagin, Bill Sikes and Nancy, as well as the entire dynamic between them.

Apologies if my post is out of place; I just wanted to get it off my chest and share my opinion. There are so many rave reviews of this series online.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere, and the sound design contributed to it so much. When Hundsgugel started snapping his fingers, I honestly got startled for a second. (Pentiment OST! <3) It’s stylish, super relevant, and incredibly funny. Bureaucracy, noisy neighbors, and all that stuff really are eternal........

Very witty text, wonderful characters. Both narratively and visually, I love ittt and this wonderful little marginal with such a cute axe! (can it be considered a tulpa.... huh) I love the combination of absurdity, slice-of-life medieval core, and those peculiar notes of class hatred. It also feels like a quirky therapy session for all sorts of topics. And honestly, there was zero chance I wasn’t going to adore Brother Marcius.

(really need to make Brother Marcius's sleeves green .........haha sorry) (a dating sim actually sounds really tempting!)

Actually, one of my favorite option for Magdalena is Krafft Bauer. Especially in the storyline where he becomes, uh, Dr. Krafft Bauer heh

Krafft is generally my favorite (ofc after Magdalena) young character of Act 3. How much his personality and fate change, under different circumstances, wow.
