mugs from my first pottery class, an eight-week beginner wheel course (at the lovely saltstone ceramics, check them out if you’re in seattle)! three successes and one (still functional) failure

i’ve been throwing with a different clay body now, focusing on cups and other vessels (i really want to make urns!). it’s interesting to see what skills have transferred vs what i have to relearn with a new body (particularly how thin i can pull my walls).
