illness killing me and making me slow with art but i managed to play with some colors for my alien again. she is 100% cuter than the first time i drew her. first draft of ocs are always so rough.

her lil face dots are her emotions on display cuz her species normal form is clear and they have the colors in their head/face. often just becomes the color of the strongest emotion. Guy thinks their pink by default cuz ... :3c they usually are pink when he's around. She cant help herself and i like to think he a little clueless until someone either mentions how they work or he just has a lightbulb moment.

im going to finish this and the Julika piece I was working on. i swear. just illness got me in a death grip.

New oc cuz IDC.

Her name is Kieri Sasaki. She was originally oc for dispatch but she has become my hero oc to insert into marvel and DC as well. She's just for anytime I need hero oc I guess. Idk what her hero name is outside of the DC universe. She's a violet lantern in DC and she likes guy gardner (my put together version of him where is isn't like the worse man to walk the earth. He's more based on OG comics guy who did thing like helping rehabilitate people who went to jail or helping special needs kids. He's still a butt but like not almost evil in most version of him). Anyways.

She's an alien who was hatched on earth after her mother found her in a back alley. She touched the eggy and gave her enough DNA to hatch and she took Kieri home. She can shape shift into people, but can also shape shift into creatures of she's studied them enough or has eaten them. She's a violet lantern but she's able to keep the ring from making her crazy. She's bubbly and kinda loves many things and people. She only goes slightly crazy when her loved ones are in danger but hasn't killed anyone.

First image is her civilian form and alien form chibi style. The other 2 are wip of her and guy gardner. She really likes him.

still on my sandrock kick. i may write julika x pen fanfiction if i dont do comic attempt. just write chapters and add any art i do for scenes or extra info just posted with the chapters.

anwyays here is Pen finding Julika alone after Owen doesn't show up for a date again.

I head cannon Owen is unsure when it comes to dating for multiple reasons. He's older so he's worried about keeping up or being interesting. he has a lot of money so there is that small worry he could be used (im pretty sure hes experienced the greedy partner who just wants money). He'll also have to figure out how to manage his prioritizes if he starts dating. he has to find tie to do the romance and run the Blue Moon. I got this head cannon from seeing a lot of people say owen rejects them more than most of the datable npcs. idk if its true but i like the idea foe a deeper character. idk.

Pen finds julika and joins her, asking how it went or why she was all alone. they are friends at this point with very flirtatious tendencies. just playful not serious stuff cuz she was more into Owen. (She has flirted with Justice and Grace just as frequently.) She tells Pen she's "Taking a hint." pen convinces her to hang around with him instead and they vibe real good. her feelings for Owen get soft locked and she starts liking the idea of maybe dating pen. Pen then shifts into the crush zone with grace and justice while owen moves to "friends".

Julika and Pen's first time meeting outside of the sandrock city hall. at first she wasn't interesting in fighting with him but then Mi-an mentioned how badly he beat on her when she arrived. Julika ready to swing on anyone for any reason.

I'm hella proud of this and its so nice to actually draw something for the first time in so long.

pen "Beating" on Mi-an. I dont think pen would see it as a fight after her first swings and he has to keep up appearances so he just kinda plays it off by joking around. Julika probs didn't let Mi-an explain it better. shes a hothead and i think Pen would be excited someone's ready to actually fight him.

oh ye quick doodly sketch from sunday when my dnd group was waiting for a missing player to show.

Julika was sent to Sandrock under the impression it was a ghost town on the brink of extinction. She wasn't ready for the hot singles in her area. She also wasn't ready for everyone to be so friendly. Idk if we know much about highwind but i assume its bigger so it has more of a city energy where people are friendly but not howdy neighbor y'know. anyways, julika's social battery has to adjust to the new environment.

Julika and her friends through most of the game. some of their placements change and some just drop out of the top five at some points but these are her main friends and family.

Julika doesn't vibe with most of her family back in Highwind. Nia is her family, she sees her as a little sister. (she got sister Zoned before she even had a chance babes). the rankings and reasons:

#1 Owen: Man gives her heftier portions and has easy commissions. He's also aging like the finest of wines in Julika's eyes. She does a lot of the flirting and he usually gets a little shy.

#2 Pen: After they beef for the first week or two, Pen and Julika find they very much vibe. Julika sees through a lot of Pen's "i'm the hero" crap and likes his rowdy shitty nature (its different from the rest of sandrock's super friendly local so its refreshing in a weird way). they spare and go out monster hunter together. They joke and playfully flirt. They do tend to ogle each other.

#3 Grace: They end up spending a lot of time together because of Owen. Julika loves how mature she is and loves sharing life stories together. she knows Grace is bad at cooking but she's also great at making drinks. she taste tests the new drinks she makes. She has a small crush on Grace throughout the game, mixed with obvious admiration.

#4 Miguel: Just like Grace, Pen and Julika hanging out leads to Miguel and her spending time together. She doesn't go to church with the rest of Sandrock, she doesn't care for it but she starts hanging out with Miguel outside of his sermons. It starts with cleaning up outside the church and continues from there.

#5 Qi: This one just kinda happens because she finds data discs frequently. She's the more experienced builder out of her and Mi-an and she cannot stand how few recipes she started with in Sandrock. (When Heidi tells her she can't give any bathroom blueprints out she goes to Qi immediately and demands a shower of some kind.) She ends up being at his house almost daily. She doesn't like it when he talks to her like stupid but that doesn't last long cuz she does have a chat with Qi. After their talk, their friendship starts feeling more like a friendship and gets less stiff. Julika like seating out with him cuz they like the same tea based meals and grace's drinks. (if yall look at his likes list he does like a lot of hr drinks. Kinda headcannon they are alcoholic cuz i'm a grown ass woman, and i like headcannoning that Qi cannpt handle liquor but always order the fruity drinks cuz they don't taste like alcohol. He doens't drink often)
