I'm a little late with this artwork, but I couldn't not do a tribute for the late and great Akira Toriyama.

I woke up to this news and was devastated. Like many growing up in the 90s, Dragon Ball Z changed my life. It was a gateway into the bigger world of anime and made me want to draw those characters all the time. Toriyama has been one of my favourite artists since my teens and I adore his sense of wonder, humour, world-building and character progression.

Thank you for everything Toriyama, RIP.

When I found out about Arleen Sorkin's passing I was very saddened. She was and still is the quintessential version of Harley Quinn for me. Sorkin's voice always had a distinctive charm and energy that was hard not to like.
