General PSA, please read!

Hey guys! This is a general PSA about buying merch from people and warning signs you should avoid if you see sellers doing this! Please keep in mind that even if a seller seems friendly and kind, they are not your friend. Yes, you can trust a seller but please remember that there are people out there who wish to take advantage of you. I want to be able to give you guys the tools to avoid people who can, and at times will, take advantage of your trust.

The first issue is people who ask you to buy OFF SITE. In general, this doesn’t count towards sellers of sites not dedicated to selling (Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram) as they don’t have any tools to sell you items on those sites. HOWEVER, on sites and apps dedicated to it (eBay, Depop, Mercari) if a seller asks you to pay outside of that site, insisting they will either give you a better price or something, you must INSIST they do their sale on that site. More often than not the person on the other end is trying to scam you, and may not even have the product. Please use caution with sellers who sell like this.

The second, and most pressing issue that I have seen on apps like Depop, is sellers asking you not only to pay OFF SITE, but asking for you to pay as Friends and Family on PayPal. Usually when this happens, the seller tells you that they will give you a significant discount for doing so or even that they prefer it to avoid fees. DO NOT DO THIS. The fees aren’t there to punish the seller, and a good seller will account for fees in their prices to begin with. The fees are to PROTECT THE BUYER.

When you pay as a Friend and Family, you are putting yourself in a bad position. If the seller has ill intentions, and has no intentions to give you your item, you are completely out of luck. PayPal will NOT refund you, PayPal will not help you. If you pay 100 dollars and the seller never ships it? You aren’t going to see that 100 dollars again.

Scammers don’t care if you give them a bad rep, scammers only want to scam.

Please be cautious when making purchases online, and please don’t allow people to steal from you under the guise of being a kind seller.

Shipping is only as cheap as it is because of the USPS, if it's gone shipping charges will go up. This will effect not only Americans, but international buyers! Shipping is charged at nearly 60 dollars from other services!

Please save the USPS, save your favorite artists, save small businesses!

Hey guys!

So, as you may be aware, the US is not allowing most packages from Japan to come to the US. Meaning a lot of packages are currently stuck in Japan. Just so you know, Amiami is holding them, they aren’t in mail service limbo. So everything is safe.

I have decided that after this last set of items arrives and is shipped out, I will be closing this blog down semi-permanently. I am still very interested in the series so somethings may pop up now and then but otherwise, I am not seeing much interest here on Tumblr.

UPDATES DUE TO RECENT EVENTS

Hey guys! So I wanted to give some updates due to the recent events involving the coronavirus.

Obviously this is a very scary time we are in right now, and as such my place of work may be shutting down for a time to clean the entire area. At work is usually where I conduct most business as at home I have very limited internet. So, I just want to say, I may not be around as much (or much at all for the two other split blogs) during the coming days but I am here! I will try to get to reservations as quickly as possible too.

Please remember to stay safe, wash your hands and avoid contact with people if you can. I know this is not always possible, but it is in all our best interests to try.
