A friend recently asked me if I had any favourite lyrics and this line came to mind.

This is one of my most favourite scenes of all time. It’s so heartbreaking but I remember smiling through my tears at its beauty while watching it.

Both Jia-han and Birdy knew this call meant goodbye even though they weren’t ready to let go. It’s devastating but they know they can’t be together. All they have left are memories and the only forever they can wish for is in those moments they spent together.

What a tragic way of saying I don't want to live in this world where you don't exist so let it stop so I can live a life where you were with me.
