Life? In MY geraniums? It’s more likely than you think.
(We tried overwintering these to uuuuuh some kind of success, but we’ll see!)
A very old tree that has hollowed over the years.
A horde of gourds! (and squash)
I could start a modest pickle operation with how many dill I saved!
I understand the philosophy behind no mow May, I do, but I really can't get behind it. It's still a lawn, you'd likely be much better off transforming it into a space that holds mostly native plants, you're going to put it back to a manicured space anyhow, yadda yadda.
The height of my concern (ha) really lies in safety. Can you see a toddler, a dog, etc., when backing up your car? Does the height of your lawn prevent you from reacting quickly to something suddenly there? There are many reasons why HOAs and town laws make you maintain your lawn! Please be careful!
Let’s play “what on earth was in the seed pack I received at the farmer’s market last year” 🌈
Dame’s Rocket is beautiful but highly invasive.
