Hello, Goodbye

The man stumbled into a house, exhausted from the long day. There were too many undead for his liking and not enough places to escape to. It was a living hell and all he wanted to do was rest for the night and hope to be alive when he wakes... sad isn't it?

Hyunsik dropped his rucksack in the living room and dropped down on a couch. He felt his body pulsating as it relaxed and as he stretched his body. 'Finally I'll get a good rest.' He thought as he leaned to the side and raised his legs up to the armrest at the other side. Hyunsik felt comfortable and safe for the mean time, and he closed his eyes slowly...

The floorboards squeaked and his eyes opened. The noise was in the other room, the dining room to be more exact. Hyunsik's face showed exhaustion and anger as he rose up from his position and walked slowly towards the noise with his hammer.

In the dining room, he spotted a pile of blankets rising up and down as if someone was there alive. Hyunsik slowly sneaked up on the person, reached out his hand and unveiled the person under the covers. It was a woman with blonde hair, sleeping soundly as Hyunsik stared with his hammer up in the air just in case it wasn't anyone alive.

Hyunsik swung his hammer and smashed it into an undead's head. He felt himself growing tired, and luckily for him, it was the last undead in the store. The man panted as he walked around the empty isles looking for anything that would get his energy going. Hyunsik wasn't a tall man to be able to see and reach things easily, but his strength is his body was great, so jumping to see more up in the top shelves evened out the difference. "Crap, nothing." Hyunsik sighed as he finished searching the last isle of the store. The day was ending and Hyunsik didn't have any food throughout the day and just that made him cranky. "Great... I guess I'll just have to sleep it off for today." He told himself and held onto his stomach as it growled.

Hyunsik then took off towards a nearby house to get some rest for the night was cold and the only place safe would be houses that he was sure that they were clean.

"Good enough." Hyunsik said and dropped his bag and weapon on the floor which made an echo flow throughout the house. He stretched his arms up in the air and began to walk around the house just in case anything got in while he wasn't there.

Hyunsik walked from the living room to the kitchen and he found jackpot. "What...?" There at the table were canned food and bottled water. 'This wasn't here when I was here...' Hyunsik thought to himself. He walked closer to it and took a bottle from the table. When he opened it and drank, he felt a presence behind him. Hyunsik reached down for the chair in front of him and quickly took it out to block the attack from behind.

An unexpected turn brought Hyunsik to an unexpected scenery. It was awfully different from what he was used to, which was isolated places with a few undead swarming around. However this place was different. Thick sheets of fog, in seconds, blurred his whole view and all he had to go for was a rusty sign that had "Amusement Park" written on it. Hyunsik took a hold of his hammer and began to walk towards the entrance. It was all silent, a type of silence that he was not used to. It was a silence of being able to listen to one's heartbeat and being able to listen to someone's breathing from a feet away. The feeling was just too eerie for his own taste.

reaching what seemed like an arcade, Hyunsik quickly made his way in, not being able to handle the feeling of someone following him from the back, the strong feeling of a gaze burning through the back of his head. The arcade didn't seem to help the feeling Hyunsik was feeling any better. He walked in further and jumped back at the sound of different video games turning on unexpectedly. The loudness of the sounds blared into his ears and stumbled back, and quickly moved away from the video games. "Fuck... that was terrifying." He breathed and pressed his hand onto his chest.

The thin thick fog inside the arcade made it easier for him to see and he spotted a dark figure along with glowing red lights from a glass box that looked more like a fortune teller box. Hyunsik took his hammer and made his way over. He noticed how the person stumbled back, indicating that it wasn't any undead, and by the subtle noise the person made, the person was alive. "Are you all right?" Hyunsik called out as he stepped near the person and squinted his eyes as if it could make him see better through the thin fog.

okay. so my time being here are scarce since things are getting hectic over here, so my replies will be short. i try my best to mirror everyone's literacy, but these are going to be short 'cause i have no time to stay even for just an hour here and i really want to get these plots moving. OTL after this is all done, things will be back to normal and stuff. :3 hopefully you all understand.

Hyunsik mentally rolled his eyes at her words and felt alight again. The tone of her voice was more determined and the look in Hyuna's eyes reminded him of an eagle. Sharp and focused, just like always. Hyunsik bent his legs a bit to get ready for the sneak attack her had always done. It was always good to be quiet and sneaking to kill these things. Any loud noises can ruin things depending on where they were. Shots rang out before he took a step, and he looked over at Hyuna who began to shoot the undead that came inside the store.

"Hyuna!" he whispered loudly to her,but the gunshot noises made his voice inaudible to her. Hyunsik had taken a lot of risks, but now one that would attract any more dead or even living people. The living is the hardest part to deal with in this time.

There was nothing left, except for one undead that walked towards Hyuna's direction. Hyunsik looked over at Hyuna, waiting for her to shoot it to get things over with, but the gun in her hands were unsteady. The shook and he noticed how her arms were lowering slowly at the sight of the undead. "Hyuna, what are you doing!?" Hyunsik called out as he watched Hyuna walk towards it and calling it 'Mom'. "Hyuna, it's not her anymore." He looked at Hyuna and the thing, and they were getting closer. "Shit."

Hyunsik ran towards the undead that suddenly flung towards Hyuna. He raised up his hammer and swung it down on the thing's head, the blood coloring the metallic color of the hammer. With his foot, he pressed down on the back of the undead as he pulled the hammer out of it's head. The body slammed to the ground and so did his hammer. "Hyuna..." He whispered, extending this hand towards her shoulder.

Another voice brushed passed him along with the cool wind of the night. An unknown voice with an unknown purpose, it confused him greatly. Was there a reason for him to listen to the word? ‘Her' lingered in his mind after the voice faded into the distance. There was only one her in his mind and knowing that she had been seen— that voice couldn't have been meaning to mention someone else, right? Hyunsik looked around the darkness and no one was in sight. He could has sworn the voice came from near him, but it was only him and the moon.
