This my first journey (still!!!)! It most exciting! I collect all shinies! Find all pictures! Explore all places! I almost at white mountain desert (it seems most cold!), but! I forget friend! F̴̧̛͟͜*͜͞҉̕͡C̷̡͢͜͢K͏̶̧͜!

Friend is wayfarer like I! I think they is lost! I see them in far away, but never find! They always run!

I come whole way back to beginning for to find friend! Instead of friend, I find magic white scarves! They make me magic, too! I fly forever! I become best! This help me find friend, I am sure!

I draw stories I tell! I draw most less than best, though! I tell you lots of stories! I practice! I get best at drawing! And I make LOTS OF FRIENDS!

OOC: It's been over a decade (!) since I've been even remotely active here, but now I'm dusting off the ol' Best just to hang out very casually. Nothing much has changed with him. I will keep him open as an ask and RP blog, post a bit of content here and there (maybe even finish The Story of How I Become Best), and shove Ode and secondary characters here as well.

Crossovers? Love 'em.

Some fantastic people on our forums decided to have a fifth anniversary event for Journey! Will you be playing?

Details: Journey 5th Anniversary Event on PlayStation 3 and 4 – Monday, March 13 21.30 / 17.30 EST – If it’s been a minute since you’ve played Journey, or if you haven’t experienced it yet, this will be a great time to return, or try it! Lots of veteran players will be present, wearing red! TO JOIN THE EVENT: At the time of the event jump into Broken Bridge (level 2 - the first meet up area) and wait. Do not activate any part of the bridge. 😄 Chirp!!!!!

Hello, fellow chirpheads! Members of Thatgamecompany’s forum are excited to announce that after several years, we are finally hosting another Gargantuan Journey Event! Everyone is welcome to join, from newcomers in red to veterans in white. No forum membership card required! ;)

All you need to do is hop into the Broken Bridge level right when the event starts. Make sure that none of the cloth ribbons are activated so that your chances of meeting another participant are high! Collecting the scarf symbols will not affect connections, so feel free to grab those ahead of time if you want. Just remember to hop offline from the Playstation Network until the start time!

Because Journey is now on two different consoles, the event will take place over the course of not one, but TWO weekends! We wanted to be inclusive of everyone as much as possible, so we felt that splitting the event dates for each console would be the best way to do it. There are also two separate start times for each event day. Feel free to attend both if you’d like!

PS4 Start Times:  Saturday November 26th @ 12:30 EST and 17:30 EST

PS3 Start Times:  Saturday December 3rd @ 12:30 EST and 17:30 EST

If you are unsure when the event will take place in your timezone, there are plenty of converters online that you can use to help you out. There are also several timezone examples listed in the event banners. Please refer to whichever one is easiest for you to convert from!

Mark your calendars and spread the word. The more that can attend, the merrier! We hope that this event will be as lively and as epic as it was when we first hosted it! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Take care and happy chirping! We hope to see you all on the sands soon! :D

This day of scares, I scariest thing yet! I dark depth of ocean! Or... I explorer of dark depth of ocean? I think I got confuse when I marinating in blue sand! But is costume not elaborate and fancy? I work hard on it!

Calling All Myst Fans

((Hey, folks–this is a bit off-topic, but if you haven’t heard about it already, Cyan Inc. (the same studio which produced Myst and Riven, back in the day) has a new title out, called Obduction. It’s not actually part of the Myst universe (though it seems to be a very similar concept/type of game, with an immersive environment to explore and puzzles to solve in order to move through the story, etc.) and in the interest of full disclosure, hubby and I have not actually played it ourselves yet. We donated some money when they were crowd-funding its development, so we have a copy waiting for us on Steam, but we don’t currently have a computer which will run it well. (It’s available for Windows, Mac, and Oculus Rift, but we’re primarily a Linux household and I’m not sure my hubby’s work laptop is up to anything as graphically intensive as this game seems to be…)

Still, the trailers look pretty darn awesome and the reviews so far seem to be nothing but positive, and since I know there are at least a few other Mystiverse fans here, I figured it was worth giving the heads-up… Cyan’s a very small developer and they’ve basically asked all their fans to spread the word, since they spent most of their budget on, y’know, actually DEVELOPING the game, and now don’t have much left over for marketing. So, here’s me doing my part for the cause. :-) ))

CALL FOR HELP

Okay so i’m doing a project on Journey because I love it so much but I need help because my teacher doesn’t think the game experience can really vary enough to be good for my project?

I was wondering if there are any users who would be willing to record audio of them answering my questions and send it to me along with a picture of you in either a red or white scarf/hat some show of your cloak color? I know thats a lot to ask but if any of you are willing I would be so so thankful.
