Still shocking to me that some people are not aware Spamton is transmasc. When he's the only of his kind to use he/him pronouns, he's obsessed with getting a body he feels like "himself" in, he's connected to the infamous blue trans allegory dress, and he lays literal eggs. One of which actually hatched. Oh and he's a foil to the first trans character in Undertale? That Spamton is cis?

And he's canonically smaller than the other humanoid androgynous Darkners of his kind, his whole character arc is about being bad at his "intended purpose". He's desperate to shape his own fate despite the disapproval from his coworkers/family thing (who he then cuts off).

He performs this caricature of 90s masculinity. He drastically changes his image (hair, the way he dresses) after he gets successful.

He finds masc role models to "steal" his look from. He also steals a project of Mettaton (the first transmasc character we see in UT) dream body. Mettaton's transition goals body. For himself. He embodies gender envy.

We can buy a mannequin sold by his ex-coworker that looks like him but in the trans-allegory dress. He squirms away from it.

context: I, along with many others, draw spamton with feathers. This CREATURE lives in the trash, and his feathers are in a very… bad condition. So I drew Berdly sitting there preening him before the rest of the scene because he’s definitely a perfectionist (he’s a gamer, yall)

Kris being the only human in a monster town as a queer (specifically trans) allegory makes very little sense considering that not only are there other trans people in town (the transfem waitress with a lions mane) but they're not even the only trans person in their class (monster kid is also nonbinary). I obviously don't know the guy but if this was the message Toby fox was going for i think itd really undermine his queer isolation metaphor by surrounding them with other queer people who are treated casually like its not an issue

"Only human in a monster town" is clearly supposed to represent them being a poc and/or foreigner in a predominantly white/monocultural neighbourhood and a transracial adoptee. Like they literally used to wear fake horns to make themself look like their adoptive family. But the average utdr fan is a white lgbt who is incapable of recognising marginalisation that's not focused on queerness and whose understanding of adoption is "found family trope"
