Creating Words

The English Language used to have other letters. It's my hope that we can bring some of them back.

Oil (oy • el)- a particularly slippery/clumsy individual.

"That guy's a fucking oil the way he keeps tripping into streetlights,"

Cærun (K • eye • roon)- Another term for the subgenre Cloudpunk.

A beautiful cærun city crested the horizon, suspended only by wires, hopes, and a blatant disregard for the law of Gravity.

Ærunda (eye • run • dah)- The act of precommiting to a task with a singular word.

"Hey we're going to the park tomorrow, do you wanna-"

Yænœr (yuh • eye • no • ear): The act of observing and incommunicable distance.

Clæstra (cull • eye • straw): A beauty that defies the cultural standards of such.

Blænark (bl • eye • narc): A curse word, an alternative for "bitch" or "bastard".

Æsteron (eye • stir • on): The act of subjecting oneself to a diatribe/infographic they don't care about.

Alværa(alv • eye • ruh)- A dance, typically described as sensual or erotic in nature.

Væstrom(v • eye •strom)- A violent outburst within an adult, typically directed towards people providing a service, IE, a waitress.

Cœn(coin)- To refer towards an individual who knows more upon a certain topic.

Sœen(soy • en)- an individual whose wisdom is precarious; either the advice they give is really good, or terrifyingly horrible.

Zæroll(Z • eye • roll)- The act of reclaiming power, or an object of some sort, just before it is lost.

Sœroz(soy • ross)- To forget something upon falling asleep.

Læstranum(lie • stray • numb)- The act of finally remembering what you entered a room for.

Cærestu(c • eye • re • stew)- the comforting feeling of a fireplace upon a cold and snowy night.

Dœrezum(d • oi • rez • oom)- the slightly sinister feeling upon entering an empty and dark house.

Væshesta(v • eye • shesta)- The act of reaching out to catch something, and just barely wrapping your hand(s) around it.

Bornæ(born • eye)- a comforting exhaustion.

Cœstern(coy • stern)- a necessary state of anger.

Æberdos(eye • bird • doh • s): a sense of happiness intermingled with directionlessness.

Ærkoness(ire • ko • ness): To feel lonely, and without a sense of purpose.

Conærpon(cone • ire • pone): To feel extreme pressure from multiple directions, yet to act directly against it.

Græle(grile): To collectively bite. To bite onto something with others.

Pœr(poi • er): a sleazy individual who, whilst holding few values, has one in particular they uphold obsessively.

Bœrg(boi • erg): An intense feeling of disgust coupled with the realization that what caused the feeling in the first place should've been common sense.

Ælder(Isle • der): Another term for an Eldritch being, typically referring to those that resemble Planets.

Æva- The bridge and the gap between two worlds.

Through his writing, his mind became an æva.

Pœr- a sleazy individual who, whilst holding few values, has one in particular they uphold obsessively.

That pœr would often take time out of his day to feed the stray cats, even if he never bothered with anything else.

Æosopothysm- The state of mind between wakefulness and sleep, where one finds themselves seconds from either.

It was synthetically induced, almost æosopothystic, with his heavy lidded eyes just barely held open. He knew that at the snap of someone's fingers, he could fall in either direction.

Græle- To collectively bite. To bite onto something with others.

The wolves would græle the carcass of their prey.

Æromance- Loving an individual in a romantic manner, but lacking sexual desires towards each other.

They sat at the Cafe, never straying far from one another, their æromance awkward, but blooming.

Ædor (pronounced "eye door")- The act of realizing an aspect of oneself so vividly that the individual must retract themselves from current affairs to handle it. Typically used in relation to accute anxiety/dysphoria.

After meeting with family, the treacherous crawl of ædor moved up his spine. He was forced to seclude himself in the bathroom until he managed to calm down.

Conspœren- To conspire against an individual with only the intent to harm them.

He was a treacherous man, using conspœren after conspœren to hurt those who thought he loved them.
