Health should not be a prerequisite for receiving respect. Not mental health, not physical health, not cleanliness from addiction, none of it. And that includes "perceived" health, too.

You don't stop being a human when you're unhealthy(or perceived as unhealthy), you shouldn't lose access to basic respect and courtesy when it happens
