It is such a shame At age 12, you were slain By those filthy fucking pigs and yet they receive no blame But we shall forever say your name.
4 Years After 6 Cops Beat Homeless Man to Death, Cops Walking Free, Still No Justice
On July 5, 2011 a group of six Fullerton officers took part in the beating of Kelly Thomas, a 37-year-old mentally ill homeless man, at the downtown Fullerton bus station parking lot. He died five days later, never regaining consciousness.Ā
Itās been 4 years since Thomas was mudered, and even though thereās 100+ witnesses plus a surveillance camera captured him (WARNING: Very graphic and difficult to watch) screaming for his father & begging for air as the police kneed him, jolted him with an electric stun gun and used the blunt end to strike him around the face and head, Jurors still couldnāt find enough evidence to charge the officers.
The 33-minute video starts with Thomas being approached by Fullerton Police Department Officer Manuel Ramos, who engages him in conversation. By minute 15, Ramos has already donned latex gloves.
āYou see my fists?ā Ramos asks Thomas. āTheyāre getting ready to fuck you up.ā
When Thomas stands up to walk away, a second police officer hits him repeatedly with a baton. The first few minutes of the altercation are off-screen, but the audio shows Thomas verbally giving up. He continuously shouts, asking for help and at one point crying out for his father.
āIām sorry, dude! Iām sorry,ā Thomas said. But the blows continue.āI canāt breathe dude, I canāt breathe!ā protests Thomas. āPlease, I canāt breathe!āĀ At minute 20, Thomas cries out to his father, who isnāt there: āDad! Dad! Dad! Help me, help me Dad!ā
District Attorney Tony Rackauckas leveled charges against three of the officers. Manual Ramos was charged with murder and manslaughter and Jay Cicinelli with manslaughter. But in January 2014, an Orange County jury acquitted both Ramos and Cicinelli of all charges. Charges against a third officer were dropped after the acquittals.

I Married a Cop & I'm Afraid
No, before you get the wrong idea. I am not afraid of my husband. I am afraid of you.
You, who threaten all cops because of a few bad cops.
You, who threaten all cops families so āthose useless pigs can know your pain.ā
When my husband leaves in the morning I know there is a chance he wonāt come home because he would give his life to protect the innocent. But now I have to worry he wonāt come home because you let your hatred blind your judgement. To bring justice to Michael Brown. Eric Garner, and all of the other victims of police brutality, you are threatening innocent men and women who took an oath to protect your life with their own.
I know you are hurting, and I know there has been great injustice for the two men and their families. I know there are corrupt cops, but the reality is, most police officers are not the problem. It is a select few who are ruining the image of all.
Please, I am one woman asking you to stop threatening my family and my husband because of the actions of others. I want my son to grow up without the fear I have. I want him to be able to tell his friends his father is a police officer without having to be afraid of backlash.
I married a cop & I do not want to be afraid.
*sigh*
i married a black man and iām afraid.. now donāt get me wrong, iām not afraid of my husband. iām afraid of cops because my husband is black.Ā
cops, who because of institutionalized racism perpetuating the narrative of the inherent criminality of black skin
cops, who without knowing my husband judge him because he is a large, black man, who is perceived as a threat because he was born to look he way he does.
when my husband goes to work the swing shift, i know there is a chance that on his way home around 11Ā pm, he wonāt come home because he could be shot during aĀ āroutine stopā or even if he calls the cops to his place of employment, because of the perception of black men in america.
his blackness is not a crime. his blackness, our blackness is beautiful. but you donāt see that.Ā
youāre damn right we are hurting. we are hurting because Michael Brown was an unarmed black boy killed for being perceived as a threat. Eric Garner was choked to death ON camera. neither of their killers will face criminal prosecution. that there is a āblue wall of silenceā that keeps so-called āgood copsā from doing the right thing and confronting corruption and institutionalized racism.Ā
i get to live with the painful knowledge that any sons AND daughters we are blessed with, will walk through life with that hanging over them. that those are painful lessons we will have to teach them, so we donāt have to go identify the bodies of our beautiful wanted loved children.Ā
i am one woman, standing in representation of my fellow sisters, my mother, my aunts, my cousins, my friends and in solidarity women i do not even know, but share this fear or have seen this fear realized to sayĀ
disabuse yourself of these notions that WE are a threat to you
understand that your husband chose to be a cop. we did not choose to be black. we love our blackness, but we hate how it is perceived. it is literally proving fatal for us.
i married a black man, and i donāt want to see him dead.
Ā i will bear black sons and daughters, and i donāt want to see them dead.Ā
i am a black woman and i donāt want to die.Ā
The bold.
Your fear of your husband dying in a job that is dangerous by default, doesnāt outweigh the collective fear of an entire race of people at risk for being killed just for who we are.
just wandering is it cultural appropriation for me to own a katana or any other weapon from a different culture? No body can culturally appropriate sticks and rocks cause they are in nature but anyway Thank you for your time.
I don't see it as appropriation !

This is so vile. Hope theyāre having fun earning money off of someone elseās culture.
You all know this is Willow Smith, right? Honestly itās important to call out poc especially when itās quite clear this has nothing to do with their own culture/religion. What is the point of creating some mediocre image of someone elseās religion just for your own purpose? And of course this is by Jean Paul Goude, the same trash that photographed Kim Kardashian as a fetishized racial stereotype. He has proven countless times that he is a sick and racist pervert benefiting off nasty images based on offensive stereotypes.
The fact that Willow Smith participated in this photoshoot is incredibly disappointing and hope she learns from her mistake smh. Someone elseās culture or religion is not here for anyoneās aesthetic. And once again, Iām incredible disgusted in Goudeās perverse and racist bullshit. Heās already exploited black women, and now heās moved on to Hinduism.Ā
Do not attack Willow about this as she is still a child. Please help her understand this is wrong and hopefully she will not do this anymore in the future.
Who's culture is this ?
