Recently programmed was a tough thing to be, Suji found. She wondered if this was how human children, who she had seen in some of her lessons and personal research, felt - experiencing everything for the first time in the presence of those who had not. It could be very frustrating. Some things she picked up very easily, diving into the task and garnering her instructor's approval in record time... but other things continued to baffle her. Like this 'decision making' nonsense. Her instructors would present her with a series of options, such as 'red' and 'blue', and ask her to choose between them. But what if she liked both red and blue? Or what if she wanted purple? There was so much more to it than just red and blue.
Deciding that perhaps some real world experience would assist her in decision making, Suji was sent out on a short and tentative day trip. The streets of Seoul were much more chaotic than what she was used to within the walls of her apartment complex, and Suji felt slightly.... overwhelmed, perhaps? That might be the right word. She remembered her basic pedestrian and traffic training, however, and took comfort in knowing that she would at least learn something new out of this experience. And if anything went wrong, surely the company would come and rescue her.
She perused the neighborhood she was limited to for a short while, never leaving the sidewalk. She gazed into shop windows and passersby, but never interacted with either, unsure of where to start this subtle adventure. When she finally stopped, it was outside what appeared to be a small restaurant on the corner of two streets. Suji cocked her head, staring at the sign that topped the building. Eating was something that she had enjoyed being taught, and taken to quite a bit. It was a nice sensation, even if the feeling was fleeting, and it was entirely unnecessary and useless for her to consume food.
Still, she took a tentative step forward, paused, and entered the restaurant. A quick look at her surroundings told her that this was a noodle shop, and as she made her way up to the counter, she was surprised to find that 'noodle' didn't even begin to cover it all. The menu was extensive - there were so many more choices than just 'red or 'blue'. Suji sighed, a hand going up to her temple to massage the wires beneath her 'skin'. After a few more moments of staring intently at the options before her, she simply growled, "How on earth do people ever manage to choose?"

(/nodding into the girls shoulder, she responded) I believe so!
[/suddenly less unsure in returning the other dolls hug, she brightens] And what do they call this?

Yes, of course! (/she exclaimed joyfully, hugging the other doll. She had seen this done by humans and in movies, though it was a little new and awkward to her, it was still nice)
[/taken aback, she stills for a moment. Tentatively, she puts an arm around Sojin and squeezes back] And this is what friends do?

(/laughing in excitement, she took the dolls hands) I would love to be your friend!
[/her grin lights up, ears perking to display her happiness] Really? Oh, wonderful!
