Happy Valentine's Day @an-alienz-ilu
I am your i7 Valentine's!
So have some Tamaki-focused and Mezzo crumbs fic!
Tamaki looked at the proposal in front of him.
A radio producer wanted Mezzo to do a special program for Valentine’s Day. According to the radio producer Mezzo should do a small discussion on what love means to them.
‘Love’ was a weird concept to Tamaki. Especially when it came to romantic.
His parents did not love each other…or used to love each other. That much he understood even as a kid.
He sometimes did not know if he ever felt it. He of course loved Aya, and he also loved Sougo and the rest of idolish7.
But what you could call a ‘romantic love’, he could say he was unfamiliar with it.
He looked at Sougo for a moment. He noticed the other man was looking at him worried.
Maybe Tamaki should tell what was feeling…but he also does not want to burden Sougo. He knows the older man is a worrywart and it can affect him.
Now all he has to do try his best to carry out this job successfully.
That though could not leave Tamaki’s head∙ What is love? More particularly, what is romance?
He wrote ‘love’ in his notebook trying to write ideas for the radio show. But the page was blank.
He was looking at it trying for something to come up but nothing. He felt his head hurting.
‘Hey are you listening to me?’ A voice brought him out of his thoughts.
He looked up and met two pair of eyes, a golden and a blue.
‘It is usual to see you so lost in your thoughts. You better not be thinking something stupid again.’ Iori commented.
‘Yeah, it is not ‘you’ to be so absorbed.’ Haruka agreed.
Tamaki just felt defeated. He signed.
‘As your unitmate, could you tell me what is your problem?’
‘Love...’ Tamaki simply said and the two other boys just looked at each other confused.
‘I want to know love!!’ Tamaki said loudly.
‘I am confused Yostuba-san…’ Iori commented.
‘He is right…What do you mean you want to know love?’
‘Me and Souchan have a job for Valentine’s Day to write what love means for us…’ Tamaki explained. ‘I have never had any feeling towards a girl; I don’t know how it feels and I don’t know what to write...’
‘So, you want a relationship?’
‘You know you can’t be in a relationship…You are an idol!’
‘That’s not what I meant…’ Tamaki corrected, feeling defeated again.
He needs to ask someone else…
When he and Iori went back home they were greeted by Riku, Mitsuki and Nagi.
‘Welcome back!’ Riku greeted them with a smile while Mitsuki and Nagi waved at them from the kitchen.
‘Do you guys know what love is?’ Tamaki asked without thinking much.
The guys just looked at each other.
‘What are you talking about Tamaki?’ Mitsuki asked.
‘Ignore him Nii-san.’ Iori explained. ‘He is confused about a work project.’
‘Oh, love!! A feeling so warm that is both beautiful and terrifying!’ Nagi injected.
‘Don’t encourage him…’ Iori scolded the older man.
‘I am more than happy to teach you about love my dear Tamaki!’
Nagi pulled Tamaki and set him on the couch and the others followed them along to make sure he didn’t confuse the younger boy.
‘Well, tell me Tamaki, what do you want to know about love? We will not judge you here!’
‘I just confused about what love is.’ Tamaki simply said. ‘And I don’t know what to say for my Valentine’s job with Soucchan…’
‘Oh, I see what the problem is!’ Tamaki said. ‘My dear Tamaki, love is like a fire, beautiful, yet distructive, with the power to bring down even the most powerful men…’
Mitsuki smacked the other man on the head.
‘Stop, you are confusing him with all this poetic stuff.’
He placed an arm on the boy’s shoulder.
‘You know Tamaki, love isn’t just one thing. There are many forms of it.’
‘Yes! I love Tenn-nii and I love our fans! So I would use that.’ Riku added.
‘But this is not what I am looking for!’ Tamaki felt defeated.
Now, Tamaki was more confused now.
As Tamaki turned back from the convenience store, he was greeted by Aya.
‘Aya! How are you doing?’
‘Fine, my training was fun today!’ She replied with a smile. ‘How about you?’
‘Fine!’ He said but his smile dropped. ‘I just have some trouble with a job.’
‘Oh! What is it? I can help you.’
‘I have to write something about love, but I have never fallen in love.’
Tamaki took a breath and looked to the sky.
‘I understand what you mean.’ Aya replied after a beat. ‘I don’t think I understand it either. I think I knew what it was, but I was wrong…’
She was playing with her hands.
‘I guess that is both of us…’ Tamaki agreed.
‘Why don’t you talk to Sougo? He might be able to help you.’
‘I don’t want to add pressure to him.’ Tamaki added. ‘You know how he is.’
‘I think you should still try to talk to him. Maybe he can help you.’
‘Soucchan can I come in?’ Tamaki knocks on the door.
He opened the door and saw the older man lifting his head from his papers.
‘With what can I help you with Tamaki-kun?’
‘I am confused about our Valentine’s Day project. What should I write about love when I have never been in love...’
Sougo looked at him and signed.
‘You can know love without being in love.’ The older man explained. ‘You love Aya and the guys, right?’
‘But isn’t it weird that I have never felt it?’
‘No, not at all. You are still young and have a lot to find out about yourself∙ one step at a time.’
‘I guess I can work with that.’
They both smiled at each other and laughed.
